About AidKit

AidKit's technology transforms how aid reaches those who need it most. We empower nonprofits and governments to deliver cash assistance and public benefits with unprecedented efficiency and dignity. From disaster relief to state benefit modernization, we provide the technology backbone for some of the nation's most innovative safety net programs, having distributed hundreds of millions of dollars to people in need.

As we rapidly scale, we're at an inflection point: integrating AI throughout our platform while maturing the product discipline that will guide our growth. This is your opportunity to shape product management at AidKit during an exciting period of transformation.

About the Role

You'll play a pivotal role in defining how we translate market needs into product strategy. This isn't just about managing a roadmap - it's about elevating the product practice at a company experiencing rapid technological change. You'll work at the intersection of AI innovation, government technology, and human-centered design, ensuring our solutions remain both cutting-edge and deeply responsive to real-world needs.

What You'll Do

Expand the Product Discipline

  • Contribute to the expansion and impact of processes and artifacts that translate market learning into clear product direction

  • Contribute to the expansion and impact of feedback loops to ensure what we build solves partner problems

Drive Market-Informed Strategy

  • Act as the voice of the market (not just individual customers), understanding needs across government administrator and beneficiary segments

  • Engage with government officials, community advisors, and stakeholders to gather insights

  • Convert market understanding into detailed requirements, narratives, and specifications

Own Product Execution

  • Manage a slice of the product roadmap and track investment, development trajectory, and ongoing market fit

  • Create user journeys, workflow maps, and prototypes that communicate feature requirements clearly

  • Build cross-functional alignment with engineering, strategy, and commercial teams

Shape Our Technical Future

  • Guide integration of AI capabilities across the platform while maintaining accessibility and dignity

  • Evaluate complex interaction design for our low/no-code configuration platform

  • Balance innovation with the operational realities of government technology

What We're Looking For
  • Enterprise B2B product experience, preferably in B2G or civic tech

  • Strong product intuition including design principles and UX/UI sensibilities

  • Ability to create structure from ambiguity and establish new practices

  • Experience translating customer needs into technical requirements

  • Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills

  • Adaptability to work at both strategic and tactical levels

  • Deep care for our mission of delivering aid with dignity

Why Now Matters

You'll be joining at a moment of transformation - as we integrate AI capabilities throughout the platform while scaling to serve more communities. This is your chance to elevate a discipline at a mission-driven company solving critical problems at the intersection of technology and public service.

Compensation and Location

For this full-time position, you can work from anywhere in the United States. The salary range for this role is $115,000 - $145,000.

Benefits: We reinforce a culture of dignity, autonomy, and trust by actively taking an interest in and supporting employees’ lives outside of work. We also provide equity, which varies by position and experience, and a comprehensive benefits package including:

  • Fair Salaries that are transparent and competitive, with a maximum ratio of 3:1 between the highest and lowest paid employees at the company.

  • Fully remote work setting with home office setup and maintenance stipends.

  • Unlimited paid time off

  • Retirement plan with 401K matching

  • Health benefits (for you and your family)

  • Flexible schedule

  • Generous 16-week paid parental leave

  • Professional development support
