We are seeking a Product Manager to enhance and maintain our vertical software application serving life sciences companies. In this role, you will ensure that the product roadmap aligns with the evolving needs of our customers and the broader market. You will be an evangelist at Bonterra for your product and this market and will bring together internal stakeholders to deliver continuous value. You will bring innate curiosity to this role and an AI-first approach to delivering value.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and Prioritize the Product Roadmap – Collaborate with stakeholders to develop a roadmap that enhances value for existing users while supporting new customer acquisition, clearly communicating rationale and trade-offs. Understanding of regulatory needs and prioritization within the roadmap is also a key requirement for this role.

  • Optimize Legacy Systems & Processes – Identify opportunities to resolve long-standing issues, improve performance, and modernize workflows.

  • Customer-Centric Product Development – Conduct user research and gather feedback to ensure product updates and enhancements meet the needs of the current user base and attract new customers.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration – Work closely with the Engineering, Sales, and Customer Experience teams to define clear requirements, ensure timely delivery, and resolve issues or roadblocks.

  • Backlog Management – Own and maintain a well-organized, prioritized backlog of features, enhancements, and bug fixes. Clearly communicate the backlog and roadmap to internal stakeholders and customers.

  • Launch Readiness – Define and oversee the execution of product launches, ensuring timely, quality delivery and stakeholder alignment and readiness.

  • Data-Driven Decision Making – Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as product usage, customer satisfaction, and feature adoption to drive continuous improvement.

What We Look For

  • 2–3 years of Product Management experience in the life sciences or healthcare technology space. 

  • Experience using AI, data & analytics to inform product and design decisions, including the use of AI within product capabilities, or to drive faster discovery, development, and decision-making processes.

  • Strong understanding of software development processes, system architecture, and technical constraints.

  • Excellent time management skills, with the ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Curiosity-driven mindset, always asking “why” and using data to validate product needs.

  • Ruthless prioritization skills, ensuring focus on high-impact features and strategic goals.

  • Strong leadership and communication skills, bringing teams together to drive towards shared product goals.

Compensation

The range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. 

 

Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and in addition to benefits this role may be eligible for discretionary bonuses/incentives, and equity. 

 

US Base Salary Range: $75,000 - $125,000

Please note that the compensation range and benefits specified in this job posting is applicable to candidates based in the United States. For international applicants, actual salary offers and benefit plans may vary based on the local market compensation standards and will be determined in accordance with regional considerations, including but not limited to applicable laws, cost of living, and industry norms.
