Job Description

We are looking for an execution-oriented Product Manager to lead innovation and support for our automotive data and vehicle history solutions. You will blend traditional product management with product operations and analytical responsibilities. You will enhance vehicle history reports solutions (VHRs), internal Admin system, and partner support portals. This role is ideal for someone who can manage initiatives from ideation to go-to-market, and enjoys working across sales, development, operations, pricing, and fulfillment. You will report to the Senior Director of Product Management.

Main Responsibilities

Client-facing and Communication

  • Provide subject matter expert (SME) support for escalated sales and client service inquiries, ensuring accurate, responses to complex product or solution-related questions.
  • Collaborate in client scoping sessions to identify and define required solutions.

Technical Product Leadership

  • Understand APIs and their applications in enterprise solutions.
  • Work with developers and architects to shape technically sound and customer-centric solutions.
  • Collaborate with technical and non-technical team members to ensure optimal API design, usability, and documentation.

Product Development and Expansion

  • Contribute to the ongoing development and enhancement of our Vehicle History Solutions, incorporating dealer feedback, market needs, and performance metrics.
  • Support new product ideation and scoping with data-driven insights and partner-informed requirements.
  • Lead enhancements and product changes to our internal admin system to better support the needs of our end customers, reseller partners, and client services teams.
  • Lead product changes to internal support website for our reselling partner.
  • Translate complex data sets into clear, actionable product features and insights, while defining business rules to ensure data accuracy and quality.

Go-to-Market Execution

  • Lead product launches: develop rollout plans, coordinate with our teams, and ensure product readiness.
  • Collaborate with marketing and commercial teams to develop positioning, messaging, and sales collateral.
  • Monitor product adoption, client satisfaction, and ongoing performance to lead future enhancements.
  • Align with legal, operations, and support teams to ensure contractual, operational, and Service level agreement standards are possible from a product perspective.

Analytics

  • Conduct data analysis to identify product performance trends, adoption gaps, or partner needs.
  • Provide recommendations based on product usage, partner engagement, and feedback loops.
  • Translate insights into feature improvements or support tools.
  • Create or facilitate creations of KPI's reports

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in product management, product operations, or business/data analysis— in the automotive or data products space.
  • Experience working in a data-centric environment— understanding of data relationships, database structures, and the ability to understand how to translate complex data requirements into actionable product features and insights.
  • Experienced in Agile product development, improving through sprint planning, backlog grooming, and stakeholder feedback loops— involving partner enablement and client-facing deliverables.
  • Familiarity with vehicle history or vehicle data, automotive data ecosystems, or dealer/reseller channels..
  • Manage partner requests and product deliverables.
  • Experience collaborating across product, sales, fulfillment, and pricing functions
  • Experience with RESTful APIs, systems integration, and data usage
  • Comfortable presenting solutions on client calls and being the product voice in deal structuring.
