The Product Manager serves primarily as a senior Agile delivery leader responsible for facilitating high-performing, cross-functional software teams. In a fast-paced, client-facing environment, this individual leads the day-to-day execution of Agile ceremonies, ensures alignment across stakeholders, and champions delivery consistency—even in the face of shifting priorities and evolving client requirements. The Product Manager enables teams to deliver working software quickly and iteratively while maintaining a strong focus on collaboration, accountability, and quality.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Serve as Scrum Master for one or more Agile product teams, ensuring they remain focused, collaborative, and delivery oriented.

  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Reviews, Retrospectives) to maintain momentum and transparency.

  • Partner closely with Product Owners and client stakeholders to manage evolving requirements and translate them into actionable plans.

  • Adapt and replan quickly in response to changing client priorities—without compromising on sprint commitments or delivery timelines.

  • Track and communicate delivery progress through metrics such as velocity, sprint burndown, and throughput; adjust team practices based on insights.

  • Proactively identify and remove blockers to ensure steady forward progress, escalating when necessary.

  • Foster a team culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement, especially when under delivery pressure.

  • Facilitate cross-team and cross-department coordination to manage dependencies and align deliverables.

  • Act as a delivery liaison between engineering, QA, product, and client teams to ensure expectations and timelines stay synchronized.

  • Champion Agile values and lean delivery practices across the organization, encouraging a bias toward action and learning.

  • Comply with all company policies and procedures.

  • Maintain regular and punctual attendance.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

This position is an individual contributor with no direct reports but may provide guidance, leadership, or training to others.

Qualifications:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

Education and/or Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business or a related field.

  • Minimum six (6) years in Agile software development environments, including at least 3 years serving as Scrum Master or Delivery Lead.

  • Experience coaching Agile teams or leading Agile transformations.

  • Proven experience delivering complex technology solutions in a fast-paced, client-driven environment.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage changing requirements, adjust priorities quickly, and still deliver consistently on timelines.

  • Strong practical knowledge of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban) and associated tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).

  • Exceptional communication, facilitation, and organizational skills.

  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity, multiple stakeholders, and rapid iteration.

Preferred:

  • Experience working in client services, consulting, and PaaS environment with external customer deliverables.

  • Experience working in fast-paced tech companies or software product teams.
