Zayo is seeking a high-performing Product Manager with a strong foundation in business, operations, or engineering and a proven ability to drive high performance and deliver results in a cross-functional team. This role is ideal for top performers with the right mix of Product, Sales, Finance, Engineering, or Operations experience who are looking to transition into a business leadership role and are ready to own key product features or services with measurable business impact.

Above all, you are a customer advocate, motivated by solving real customer problems and building intuitive, high-impact solutions. You’ll lead initiatives from discovery through delivery, define go-to-market strategy, and collaborate across teams to ensure successful execution, adoption, and long-term business value. This is a hands-on, outcomes-driven role at the intersection of product strategy, technical execution, and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Champion the voice of the customer throughout the product lifecycle, ensuring user needs directly inform roadmap and design
    Define product vision and feature-level strategy aligned to business objectives and market opportunities

  • Lead the go-to-market strategy and launch execution, partnering with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success to drive adoption and retention

  • Define and prioritize epic-level product roadmaps and contribute to network demand and expansion planning. 

  • Partner with Product Software and the software development teams to build products, features, and improve customer experiences. 

  • Lead a cross-functional team of Product Software, Solutions Architecture, Engineering Service Delivery, Network Engineering, and Network Operations to deliver product value to customers and ensure successful implementation and adoption.  Ensure SLAs are measurable, achievable, and continuously improving.

  • Monitor key metrics (e.g., revenue, retention, adoption of features) and track performance and guide iteration

  • Partner with Product Marketing and Sales Enablement to build customer guides for both internal and external uses. 

  • Build and present business cases for new products, features, investments and other changes to cross-functional stakeholders and executives

  • Monitor post-launch product health, including performance, support tickets. 

  • Act as a product evangelist, representing the product internally across teams and externally to customers, partners, and industry stakeholders

Qualifications

  • 4–7 years of total experience in a blend of Product Management,  Sales, Engineering, Operations, or Commercial Management with a track record of leading cross-functional initiatives

  • Strong customer empathy, structured problem-solving, and a clear bias toward action

  • Experience building and presenting business cases to cross-functional leadership, including financial modeling and strategic tradeoffs

  • Demonstrated ability to influence without authority in a matrixed, fast-moving organization

  • Fluency in agile methodologies and tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Salesforce. 

  • Experience managing enterprise system integrations and stakeholder requirements (e.g., Salesforce, CPQ, ERP, CRM)

  • Exposure to product financials, pricing strategy, and revenue forecasting a plus

  • Proven ability to own measurable outcomes across revenue, user engagement, and customer success

  • Skilled at building alignment across competing priorities and communicating business impact clearly

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or technical graduate degree a plus

  • Exposure to AI/ML use cases, data infrastructure, or developer-facing product work

Estimated base salary range: $87,500 - $125,000 USD/annually.

The base pay range shown is a guideline and reasonable estimate for this role. It takes into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions. Actual compensation offered may vary from the posted range based upon geographic location, work experience, skill level, certifications, and other business and organizational needs. Non- sales roles may be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive plan. Sales roles may be eligible to participate in a sales incentive plan.

Additionally, this position may be eligible for certain benefits, such as health insurance, life insurance, disability retirement plans, paid time off.
