Title: Product Manager, Integrated Payments

Location: Remote with the US

Job Description: We’re looking for a strategic and execution-driven Product Manager to join our Integrated Payments team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of strategy, design, technology, and impact—a product thinker who is as comfortable talking to clients about their pain points as they are prioritizing features for delivery. You’ll own a defined set of products within our integrated payments portfolio, leading with a human-centered mindset to understand the needs of higher education business offices, students, and families. You’ll drive measurable growth by turning insights into strategy, and strategy into execution—through continuous iteration, learning, and improvement.

What You’ll Do:

  • Conduct client and user discovery to uncover unmet needs, pain points, and opportunities across the payments journey.
  • Design and optimize intuitive, transparent, and frictionless payment experiences for students and families—balancing institutional needs with consumer expectations shaped by leading digital payment products.
  • Identify opportunities to embed AI in both product capabilities (e.g., intelligent automation, predictive insights, personalization) and product operations (e.g., backlog management, data-driven decisioning).
  • Understand and design how front-stage experiences (student and parent interactions) connect to back-stage systems and processes (business office workflows, reconciliation, financial aid).
  • Develop product roadmaps grounded in clear strategic priorities, informed by data, research, and client feedback.
  • Drive product delivery through clear requirements, close collaboration with design and engineering, and active management of scope, quality, and timelines.
  • Establish an iterative approach to validate assumptions, measure success, and adapt based on what you learn.
  • Partner with marketing, sales, client success, and operations teams to ensure strong product-market fit, adoption, and client satisfaction.
  • Continuously gather feedback from clients and end users to refine experiences and deliver meaningful, measurable value.
Qualifications:
  • 4–7 years of experience in product management, preferably in SaaS, fintech, edtech, or a related industry.
  • A strong foundation in human-centered design and a proven ability to turn insights into solutions that drive user and business value.
  • Experience leading iterative, test-and-learn product development processes, including experimentation, MVPs, and incremental releases.
  • Demonstrated success executing against a defined product strategy or roadmap—balancing long-term vision with short-term delivery.
  • Comfort working with and around AI/ML technologies, with an understanding of how AI can enhance user experiences and product management practices.
  • Experience with service design tools and methods—journey mapping, ecosystem mapping, and aligning front-stage experiences with back-stage processes.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills; you translate complexity into clarity for technical and non-technical audiences alike.
  • Curiosity, humility, and a bias toward action—you seek to understand, learn quickly, and move ideas forward with purpose.

Planning for the Future:

  • Employer paid Life Insurance / AD&D / Short-Term
  • Voluntary Long-Term Disability Insurance / Term Life Insurance / AD&D
  • Access to FSA Plans & Commuter Benefit Plans
  • 401(k) Savings Plan where the Company Match of $0.50 for each $1 you contribute on the first 8% of pay.
  • Both your contribution and the company contribution are immediately 100% vested.
  • Access to the Roper Employee Stock Purchase Plan
  • Paid Parental Leave Program.

Base salary offers for this position may vary based on factors such as location, skills, and relevant experience. Some positions may include additional compensation in the form of bonus, equity, or commissions.
