HOW YOU’LL CONTRIBUTE
- Lead product strategy and roadmap development for valuation and appraisal management solutions, supporting residential use cases across purchase, refinance, HELOC, and portfolio review workflows.
- Partner with appraisal management, valuation, compliance, and operations teams to translate appraisal lifecycle processes (ordering, assignment, review, delivery, and payment) into scalable product capabilities.
- Define and prioritize product requirements supporting appraisal compliance, including USPAP adherence, UAD/UCDP standards, AIR independence, and lender/investor guidelines.
- Drive enhancements to Appraisal Management Platforms (AMP/AMC systems), including panel management, appraiser performance metrics, turn-time optimization, quality control, and dispute resolution workflows.
- Conduct market and competitive analysis across valuation products, AMCs, and fintech providers, identifying gaps and opportunities for product differentiation and innovation.
- Work closely with customers (lenders, servicers, investors) to understand valuation pain points and evolving requirements, incorporating feedback into roadmap planning and release prioritization.
- Support go-to-market strategy, product positioning, and customer messaging for valuation and appraisal offerings, clearly articulating value propositions related to speed, quality, cost, and compliance.
- Analyze valuation performance data (turn times, revision rates, quality scores, cost metrics) to inform product decisions and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Partner with sales and client success teams as a valuation subject-matter expert, supporting client discussions, demos, pilots, and implementations.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
Required Education, Experience, Certification/Licensure
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 5+ years’ directly related experience in product or services development preferably in valuations or appraisal management domains
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES (KSAs)
- Leadership presence with strong communication skills and the ability to interact with and explain complex concepts to stakeholders and management
- Experience in product development, requirements and risk analysis, pricing, planning, competitive analysis, and financial planning and strategy
- Experience in working in cross functional highly matrixed environments
- Innovative and forward thinking
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office applications
- Sound decision making, creativity, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to build relationships and ensure cooperation across First American product companies
- Project management skills
- Business acumen, strategic agility, influence outcomes and change and negotiate for resources
- Successful track record designing, developing, and executing a wide range of projects
- Drives and models customer loyalty, manages customer expectations, solicits customer feedback and ensures commitments are met
Pay Range: $112,400.00 - $149,800.00 Annually
This hiring range is a reasonable estimate of the base pay range for this position at the time of posting. Pay is based on a number of factors which may include job-related knowledge, skills, experience, business requirements and geographic location.
