Wholesale Marketplace is hiring a Product Manager I . This role will support the product development process as a part of the overall product management domain. This role uses customer feedback, business strategy, data/analytics, user experience, and technology to create positive, effective customer experiences.
What You'll Do
• Perform market assessments and create an in-depth understanding of user needs by persona to ensure appropriate direction of assigned products. Assess competitive landscape and determine the most efficient course of action to achieve goals.
• Conduct problem discovery activities, both qualitative and quantitative, to understand user pain points and determine opportunities for new solutions.
• Establish concise value statements, objectives, and key results for product initiatives that will guide the organization and delivery teams in measuring success.
• Assess product performance against KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) and adjust to improve performance; create and deliver thoughtful information to influence key market constituents.
• Create and maintain product vision and roadmap, including development of go-to-market strategy and value-proposition messaging.
• Manage the full product lifecycle to ensure that the needs of internal and external customers are met.
• Conduct in-market tests, experiments, pilots, and product launches to support initiatives.
• Build an effective partnership between Product & Engineering, collaborating within the Product team as well as User Experience, Engineering, and Architecture teams to execute work.
• Serve as the "voice of the customer" to the team and delivery stream by representing and reinforcing the customer's perspective throughout product realization cycles.
• Work with Product Owners to provide clear direction to delivery teams on defined product priorities
Who You Are
Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as 4 years experience in a related field
  • Working knowledge of Product specialty/job area, principles, concepts, and practices.
  • Strong writing ability, experience writing epics strongly preferred.
  • Some experience in design, development, and implementation of product plans.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Some experience in full product lifecycle methodologies.
  • Some experience in in conducting competitive research and analysis.
  • Some experience in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment.
  • Working experience with Rally or Jira
  • Have used Mural or training in whiteboarding tools
  • LucidChart is a nice to have! (or any workflow tools)


USD 65,500.00 - 98,300.00 per year
Compensation:
Compensation includes a base salary of $65,500.00 - $98,300.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.
Benefits:
The Company offers eligible employees the flexibility to take as much vacation with pay as they deem consistent with their duties, the company's needs, and its obligations; seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year; and up to 160 hours of paid wellness annually for their own wellness or that of family members. Employees are also eligible for additional paid time off in the form of bereavement leave, time off to vote, jury duty leave, volunteer time off, military leave, and parental leave.
