Role Overview

We are seeking a Growth Product Manager to develop and execute growth strategies aimed at increasing acquisition, engagement, and retention. This role requires a blend of product management, data-driven growth, and collaboration with Marketing and Sales teams, leveraging growth technology tools (CDP, Attribution, Behavioural Analytics, CRMs) to optimize the customer journey and unlock scalable growth. The ideal candidate will design growth-oriented features (e.g., referrals, onboarding enhancements, loyalty programs) that enhance adoption and retention.

Roles and responsibilities:

  • Take full ownership of the Kuda Business growth roadmap, ensuring alignment with Kuda’s OKRs and setting a clear vision for scaling Kuda Business.
  • Lead a cross-functional team of engineers and designers fostering collaboration and ensuring high-quality execution of growth initiatives.
  • Develop and execute data-driven growth strategies to increase customer acquisition, activation, engagement, and retention for Kuda Business.
  • Own, understand, and optimize growth metrics, using these to inform product roadmap decisions, identify performance gaps, and provide insights to C-Suite executives.
  • Discover, develop, and enhance growth-focused features to boost customer adoption and lifetime value.
  • Implement and optimize growth and attribution tools (e.g., Mixpanel, Segment, Iterable) to measure and enhance acquisition and engagement efforts.
  • Design, execute, and iterate A/B tests, personalization strategies, and growth experiments using data, research, and user insights to optimize acquisition, feature
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in Product Management, Growth, or a related field, with a track record of delivering impactful product changes.
  • Strong ability to define and execute a product strategy, ensuring alignment with growth and user engagement goals.
  • Experience in leading cross-functional teams to drive product development from ideation to execution.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritize and make trade-offs between competing demands.
  • Experience working in Agile environments and familiarity with product development frameworks.
  • A passion for user experience, with a strong ability to interpret customer insights and data to drive decision-making.
  • Strong understanding of growth experimentation methodologies, A/B testing, and iterative development.
  • A strong understanding of the mobile ecosystem and how mobile experiences impact growth.
  • Experience working with behavioral analytics platforms like Mixpanel and Amplitude.
  • Proficiency in using and implementing growth tools such as Segment, LaunchDarkly, or Appsflyer to optimize customer acquisition and engagement.
  • Exceptional curiosity and adaptability, with a willingness to experiment, learn, and refine strategies continuously.

Advantageous:

  • Proficiency in SQL.
  • Experience in building CRM, CDP, or a Data Platform.
  • Previous work experience in the Fintech space.
  • Strong knowledge of African markets.
  • An obsession with user experience and a passion for optimizing customer journeys.
  • A desire to build something great, contributing to an impactful and scalable product.
