As a Product Manager Expert within PNC's Asset Management Group Investment Office organization, you will be based in Philadelphia, PA or Pittsburgh, PA.
The role will be responsible for defining, prioritizing, and advancing the Asset Management Group (AMG) Investment Office’s product roadmap which spans several products/strategies, including but not limited to model portfolios/UMAs, mutual funds/ETFs, alternatives, equity, and fixed income. This role will be responsible for turning market insight and client needs into actionable deliverables, and will partner closely with Portfolio Construction, Investment Strategy, Operations, Technology, Risk/Compliance, Finance, and Legal to deliver differentiated offerings.
Specific responsibilities include:
• Identify gaps/opportunities within the Investment Office’s product/solution offering.
• Convert advisor feedback, client insights, and competitor/platform trends into clear value propositions.
• Develop and own a short term and long term product roadmap aligned to the Investment Office’s Strategic Priorities.
• Help lead cross-functional teams from product concept to launch.
• Partner in evaluating new and current investment opportunities and integrate them into existing frameworks.
• Partner with Portfolio Strategy to identify solutions for investment strategies and product development.
• Partner with the Investment Office’s Chief Operating Officer with technical and operational prioritization, planning, and execution.
Preferred skills/experience:
• Experience with traditional and alternative investments, and/or investment product development is highly desirable.
• Ability to translate high-level strategic priorities into actionable plans.
• Proven experience working across teams and managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
• Familiarity with investment platforms and investment technology-driven solutions.
• Maintain clear documentation and communication channels to support transparency and accountability.
• Deep understanding of current asset management trends: private markets expansion, ESG integration, fee pressure dynamics, technology transformation, democratization of alternatives
• Awareness of competitive landscape and asset management industry best practices.
• CFA and/or CAIA.

  • Uses advanced knowledge and industry experience to shape the overall strategy and execute on the business and financial results for product portfolios by creating and documenting traditional and emerging capabilities in technology, operations and data analytics to enable a differentiated customer experience.
  • Recognized as an industry expert and serves as a subject matter expert to identify and prioritize solutions to produce a differentiated customer experience related to product or experience development for business segments and product groups.
  • Leads and educates as a thought leader for product and experience development using industry expertise and perspective to offer guidance, inspire innovation and influence others. Participates in the marketplace to influence product and customer experience trends and advises on market trends for a business segment.
  • Proactively makes innovative recommendations to enhance products and the customer experience. Develops strong partnerships with key-decision makers to ensure cross-business and cross-functional alignment and synergies. Presents to executive leadership for buy-in.
  • Develops, trains and mentors team members and partners across a business segment or line of business to build expertise in the product management function for the future success of the organization.
