Who is Credible?

We are a marketplace where users can compare personalized, prequalified rates and quotes from multiple lenders and carriers, for student loans, mortgages, personal loans, and insurance.

We’re challenging the status quo by giving power to the consumer. We believe in a world where ‘ethical’, ‘lending’, and ‘insurance’ can coexist, so we set out to build innovative platforms that actually work for customers. Our mission is to help people find the best loan or insurance policy possible.

We believe researching and buying loans or insurance shouldn’t be confusing or complex, so we’ve focused on simplicity. We’ve created the only unbiased loan and insurance buying process out there, which makes finding options straightforward and clear.

About the Role:

Credible is looking for a data-driven, user experience-oriented Product Manager to join our team to help scale our national media publisher partnerships. You will be responsible for optimizing conversion and monetization across our media publisher ecosystem, building new experiences to improve SEM, SEO, and on-page engagement, and working closely with our publisher partner stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  • Think Strategically and Creatively: Deliver new front-end features across Credible’s publisher ecosystem that can drive SEO growth and conversion improvement, aligning features with Credible’s long-term vision. You will thoughtfully balance delivering near-term impact with enabling long-term step-change opportunities.
  • Own the Roadmap: Manage roadmaps across multiple publisher sites, encompassing consumer facing experiences, editorial tooling, and core infrastructure (including instrumentation and experimentation frameworks). Lead the process of identifying and evaluating opportunities, prioritizing team resources to maximize impact.
  • Make Data-Driven Decisions: Utilize data analysis, A/B testing, and user research to validate assumptions, uncover new insights, and drive meaningful improvements to the business. Optimize on-page monetization opportunities for financial products and consumer goods.
  • Lead and Collaborate Across Functions: Proactively engage cross-functional teams within Credible and within our media publisher partners to identify opportunities, brainstorm solutions, and lead their implementation. Collaborate with editorial, SEO, engineering, design, data, and partnerships teams to deliver product enhancements and achieve team OKRs.

Education and Experience:

  • At least 3 years of experience in a Product Management role for web-based consumer Internet products
  • Experience working on media publisher / content experiences is ideal, including user facing experiences and content management systems / editorial tools
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Ability to use data, your experience and product instincts to identify the most impactful areas of focus
  • Strong analytical abilities, including experience with Excel and other analytics tools
  • Exceptional problem solving and communication skills
  • Strong project management skills, and willingness/ability to own critical parts of the product, end-to-end
  • Thrive on collaboration with other teams to accomplish shared goals
  • Experience in an externally facing role, with proven success managing complex stakeholder relationships
  • Technical aptitude - whether through education or experience, it's important that you can work closely with engineers to evaluate different approaches to implementing product features, weighing cost/benefit tradeoffs

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay ranges for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location, are listed below. This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents.
