We are seeking a Product Manager to support the strategy, development, and delivery of our Bid to Bill product line, which enables utilities to manage transaction processing, settlements, and accounting workflows in deregulated wholesale electricity markets.
As a mid-level Product Manager, you will help shape product direction, contribute to roadmap creation, and work closely with engineering, Professional Services, Customer Operations, and commercial teams to ensure successful product delivery and adoption. You will also engage directly with users to understand their workflows and translate insights into actionable product improvements.
This role is ideal for an analytical, customer-focused PM excited to deepen their expertise in energy markets and enterprise workflow software.
Position Details- Salary range: $95,000-$125,000 plus bonus

- Support go-to-market activities by partnering with Sales and Marketing on messaging, positioning, and launch planning.
- Review usage analytics, customer feedback, and account insights to identify product gaps and growth opportunities.
- Participate in commercial strategy discussions to help expand ARR in existing and emerging markets.
- Stay informed about trends in deregulated wholesale electricity markets, including settlement and accounting processes.
- Track competitive products and market dynamics to maintain differentiation and relevance.
- Identify product risks—including regulatory changes or shifting customer needs—and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Work with Professional Services to enable seamless customer onboarding and product implementation.
- Collaborate with Customer Operations to improve the end-to-end customer experience based on feedback and support interactions.
- Act as a key voice of the customer in engineering discussions, supporting the definition of clear requirements and priorities.
- Conduct ongoing discovery with current and prospective users to understand workflows, pain points, and unmet needs.
- Lead or support user interviews, workflow deep dives, and research initiatives to validate problems and proposed solutions.
- Translate user findings into actionable requirements and insights for engineering and product leadership.
- Maintain structured knowledge of personas, customer segments, and use cases to inform roadmap decisions.
- Build trusted relationships with customers by sharing product direction, gathering feedback, and representing their needs internally.
- 2+ years of product management experience in a SaaS environment (energy or utilities experience preferred).
- Understanding of settlements, billing, or accounting processes in deregulated power markets; familiarity with ISO/RTO environments is a strong plus.
- Proven ability to contribute to cross-functional product teams and deliver impactful software solutions.
- Demonstrated skill in synthesizing regulatory, customer, and market insights into actionable product requirements.
- Analytical mindset with comfort using both quantitative and qualitative data to support decision-making.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Proficiency with tools such as Lattice, Pendo, Google Workspace, and Microsoft Office Suite; comfortable presenting to internal and external audiences and supporting Sales during product demos.
