About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Product Project Manager to join our Alternative Investment team in the vendor management and business development side of the business.
In this role, you will:
  • Manage projects and BAU activities related to proprietary and non-proprietary alternative investment product applications that service hedge funds, managed futures, commodities, private equity, private debt and private real estate offerings
  • Collaborate and consult with vendors, business partners, analysts and project teams to Identify, define and prioritize features and enhancements which will add value to the business, including testing and validation
  • Support risk analysis, prioritization and issue resolution of moderately complex issues to meet project goals, objectives and deliverables
  • Build partnerships with business, technology and vendors
  • Oversee vendor engagements utilized to deliver alternative investment capabilities to Wells Fargo
  • Support the advisor community on best practices
  • Ensure programs adhere to compliance, privacy regulations and policies
  • Ensure applications used by investment professional are compliant, accurate and available
  • Coordinate receipt of ongoing reports and data from supported businesses
Required Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of Product Management experience, product development experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
  • Knowledge and experience with alternative investments business support (e.g., hedge fund, private equity and/or private real estate)
  • 2+ years of business project management experience developing process, workflows, and/or system improvements and implementation and testing
  • 2+ years of Wealth Management, or Brokerage experience, preferably investment related
  • Experience in Alternative Investment technology solutions. iCapital experience preferred
  • Experience working in an Agile environment from Business support side
  • Experience in onboarding, rolling out updates and enhancements, and migrating products
  • Knowledge and understanding of database management, reporting, and analysis functions
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Excellent critical thinking
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Good attention to detail and accuracy skills
