At Phygtl, we are solving the problem for Students suffering from social isolation, a challenge that affects over 60% of today's students, contributing significantly to rising depression and anxiety rates. We develop technology that reduces isolation by up to 40%, by providing a novel way to foster community on campus while bridging connections between physical and digital environments.

Tasks

What you'll do

As a Product Management Intern, you’ll own real features end-to-end across ideation, research, execution, and launch. You will:

  • Drive user research through interviews, surveys, and rapid feedback loops

  • Translate insights into product specs, user stories, and acceptance criteria

  • Work closely with engineering, design, and growth to ship features on tight timelines

  • Analyze product data to identify trends, opportunities, and bottlenecks

  • Support sprint planning, QA, and release management

  • Benchmark competitors, map market opportunities, and synthesize product insights

  • Help build operational frameworks, roadmaps, and cross-team documentation

This role is hands-on. You will work like a real PM: making decisions, prioritizing tradeoffs, and pushing features across the finish line.

Requirements

What We’re Looking For

You are:

  • High empathy for users and what they feel ... curiosity-driven

  • Organized, analytical, and comfortable with structuring ambiguous problems

  • Excellent at written communication — clarity is everything

  • Skilled at Figma, Notion, or similar tools (or excited to learn fast)

  • Capable of balancing speed with product intuition

  • A team-first operator who can navigate chaos and still ship

  • Passionate about consumer products, AI, or new-gen digital/physical experiences

Preferred:

  • Background in Cognitive Science, CS, UX, Business, or related fields

  • Experience with side projects, club leadership, hackathons, or product coursework

  • Prior involvement in PM, design, engineering, or growth initiatives
