Summary
We are seeking a technically savvy and clinician-focused Product Manager to lead our EHR integration strategy. In this role, you will not be building an EHR; instead, you will be the architect of how our genetic testing solutions "live" inside the systems our customers already use (such as Epic, Cerner, or Athena and more). You will bridge the gap between our advanced genomic data and the daily clinical workflows of doctors and health systems, ensuring that ordering a test and receiving a result is a seamless, automated, and data-rich experience.
Your primary objective is to reduce the friction of genetic testing by embedding our services directly into the provider’s digital environment. You will define the roadmap for our integration products. You will spend time "in the field" with our commercial team and hospital IT teams and clinicians to understand how they want to view genetic data at the point of care.
A major part of your role involves technical solutioning and partnership. You will work with our engineering team to build scalable integration engines that can handle complex genomic reports and discrete data elements. You will also manage relationships with third-party integration vendors and hospital IT departments to navigate the "last mile" of implementation, ensuring our results are not just a PDF attachment but actionable data within the patient record.
Strategic prioritization is essential. You will evaluate which EHR platforms and integration standards (like GA4GH or HL7 Omics) to prioritize based on market demand and clinical impact. You will also ensure that all integrations maintain the highest standards of HIPAA compliance and data security while meeting the specific "Meaningful Use" or interoperability goals of our health system partners.

Experts in what matters most.
With hundreds of genetic counselors, MD/PhD scientists, and clinical and molecular genomics specialists on staff, we are the industry’s genetic testing experts and proud of it. We share the same goal as healthcare providers, patients, and families: to provide clear, accurate, and meaningful answers we all can trust.
SEQUENCING HAS THE POWER TO SOLVE DIAGNOSTIC CHALLENGES.
From sequencing to reporting and beyond, our technical and clinical experts are providing guidance every step of the way:
TECHNICAL EXPERTISE
- High-quality testing: Our laboratory is CLIA certified and CAP accredited and most of our tests are also New York State approved.
- Advanced detection: By interrogating genes for complex variants, we can identify the underlying causes of conditions that may otherwise be missed.
CLINICAL EXPERTISE
- Thorough analysis: We classify variants according to our custom adaptation of the most recent guidelines. We then leverage our rich internal database for additional interpretation evidence.
- Customized care: Our experts review all test results and write reports in a clear, concise, and personalized way. We also include information for research studies in specific clinical situations.
- Impactful discovery: Our researchers continue working to find answers even after testing is complete. Through both internal research efforts and global collaborations, we have identified and published hundreds of new disease-gene relationships and developed novel tools for genomic data analysis. These efforts ultimately deliver more diagnostic findings to individuals.
