Product Designer (Injective Labs)

Injective Labs is trailblazing a new dawn for Web3 enabled finance. We are the core contributors to Injective, one of the fastest growing blockchains in the industry.

Injective provides an interoperable smart contracts platform that is optimized for building decentralized finance applications. Interoperability is at the core of Injective, which is natively integrated with chains such as Ethereum, Cosmos and Solana. Developers can rapidly launch premier financial applications suited for mass adoption using Injective’s infrastructure and specialized DeFi primitives such as the world’s first fully on-chain order book.

We're looking for a Product Designer to work on the Injective web products, and DAPPs. This is an outstanding opportunity to work fully hands-on in DeFi. The ideal candidate will be able to map out a diverse set of creative solutions and work with leadership to help craft Injective's products.

• Leading design projects across the entire product lifecycle and multiple product launches

• Propagate a strong design practice, influence product strategy, and impact our product execution and quality

• Partnering closely with engineering, product, and business teams to find elegant but practical solutions to design challenges

• Listening to users’ feedback and influence on the product-design strategy and solutions that delight our customers

• Develop and maintain product design systems

• Rapidly producing multiple concepts and prototypes; knowing when to apply pixel-perfect attention to detail, and when to make low-fi sketches and prototypes

• 3+ years in a UI/UX design role (experience at a consumer fintech company is preferred)

• Excellent Figma skills

• Adobe creative suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects) is a plus

• Proven experience building excellent consumer-facing mobile and web products

• Experience in developing wireframes and prototypes

• Experience in developing and maintaining design systems

• Ability to communicate optimally on an ego-free, highly energetic, and cross-functional team

• Ability to get feedback efficiently and pushback if necessary

• Proven ability to lead product design discovery and manage the end-to-end design process, from initial concept through final delivery

• Strong information design experience with a solid foundation in UX design heuristics

• Deep knowledge and applied experience in graphic design (layout, typography, color)

• A portfolio that demonstrates love and care for their craft

• A passion for building and creating in a fast paced, start up environment

• Based in North/South America or Europe time zones

• Previous experience working in the crypto space

• Previous experience working at an exchange (CEX or DEX)
