StackAdapt’s Advertising Technology team is looking for a highly analytical and results-oriented Product Data Analyst to drive data insights for our Mobile App User Acquisition (UA) program. In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to define key performance metrics, analyze trends, and deliver impactful data-driven recommendations that optimize mobile app campaign performance. You will collaborate with Product, Machine Learning, Business Intelligence (BI), Data Engineering, and Data Analytics teams to build data sources, dashboards, and reporting structures that provide actionable insights.The ideal candidate is data-driven, detail-oriented, and has a strong understanding of mobile user acquisition metrics, performance tracking, and attribution models.
What You'll Be Doing
- Analyze past and present mobile user acquisition (UA) campaign data to identify key trends, measure effectiveness, and provide insights for optimization.
- Establish and refine the core metrics that drive mobile UA performance, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Work closely with BI, Data Engineering, and Data Analytics teams to leverage their expertise in building scalable data solutions.
- Partner with Product and Machine Learning teams to analyze data trends, optimize targeting models, and enhance campaign performance.
- Collaborate with the BI team to design and maintain data sources, dashboards, and automated reports that provide real-time insights for leadership.
- Lead weekly performance reviews, present key findings, and share data-driven recommendations with stakeholders.
- Prepare and present QBRs to the leadership team, highlighting campaign trends, opportunities, and data-driven insights.
What You'll Bring to the Table
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or product analytics within advertising technology, mobile user acquisition, or performance marketing.
- Strong experience with SQL for querying and analyzing data.
- Proficiency in data visualization tools like ThoughtSpot, Tableau, Looker, or Power BI.
- Familiarity with Python or R for statistical analysis is a plus.
- Ability to extract meaningful insights from complex data sets and communicate findings in a clear, actionable manner.
- Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to translate data insights into compelling narratives for leadership and stakeholders.
- You may also have an understanding of key mobile UA metrics such as Cost Per Install (CPI), Install Per Mille (IPM), Click-to-Install (C2I), Return on Ad Spend (ROAS), and Lifetime Value (LTV).
