Fincent is a new age finance firm whose mission is to bring financial and accounting services into the modern era. We like to think of ourselves as all of the good parts of a startup, without the downsides. We're a tight-knit team of smart, friendly people solving problems together with a shared passion for design, technology and creativity. Fincent stands at the intersection of neo-banking and SaaS and aims to be a complete financial hub for SMBs. We offer an AI-powered finance team with a real-time dashboard to manage all the finance functions for your business on one platform – banking, bookkeeping, yearly taxes, bill pay & invoicing, financial projections & budgeting, reimbursements and more.

About the Role

We are looking for an exceptional Product and Strategy Leader who can own the product vision, strategy, and execution roadmap across Fincent’s offerings. You will work closely with Founders, Design, Engineering, Marketing, Operations, and Customers to define and deliver innovative solutions that drive growth, market leadership, and exceptional user experience.

This is a foundational leadership role — perfect for someone who thrives in early-stage, high-growth environments and enjoys building products that are both user-centric and commercially successful.

Key Responsibilities
  • Product Strategy & Vision: Define and continually refine the product vision aligned with Fincent’s overall business goals. Identify market opportunities, competitive landscape shifts, and customer needs.
  • Product Development Leadership: Drive the product development lifecycle end-to-end — from discovery to launch to iteration. Prioritize product initiatives based on business impact, user value, and technical feasibility.
  • User and Customer Focus: Deeply understand the needs of small business owners, accountants, and financial advisors through research, interviews, and data. Translate insights into product innovation.
  • Cross-functional Leadership: Partner with Engineering, Design, Operations, Sales, and Customer Success teams to deliver high-quality products on time.
  • Go-To-Market Strategy: Collaborate with Marketing and Sales to craft product positioning, messaging, pricing, and launch plans.
  • Data-Driven Decision-Making: Use analytics, metrics, and user feedback to continuously optimize the product roadmap and user experience.
  • Team Leadership and Culture: Build and mentor a high-performing product management organization over time.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in Product Management, Strategy, or related roles, ideally in fintech, SaaS, or B2B environments.
  • Proven success in defining, launching, and scaling digital products.
  • Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills; comfortable with data, finance, and market dynamics.
  • Outstanding communication and storytelling abilities; can inspire internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Highly entrepreneurial mindset: bias for action, ability to work with ambiguity, and ownership mentality.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams in high-velocity environments.
  • Deep empathy for customers combined with a passion for beautiful, intuitive products.
  • MBA or similar advanced degree is a plus (but not mandatory).
Nice to Have
  • Experience with SMB financial products (accounting, tax, payroll, bookkeeping).
  • Background in startups, especially VC-backed early-stage companies.
  • Exposure to U.S. SMB markets or global SMB ecosystems.
  • Technical background or strong technical fluency.
Why Join Fincent?
  • Work with a passionate, ambitious founding team.
  • Shape the future of SMB finance globally.
  • Build products that truly make a difference in entrepreneurs’ lives.
  • Competitive salary, equity, and benefits.
  • Opportunity to grow rapidly into an executive leadership role.
