The role

We are seeking an experienced Procurement Specialist to support the US market, with a strong focus on Marketing, HR, and other indirect categories.
This role will partner closely with Marketing, HR, Finance, Legal, and other internal stakeholders to drive cost efficiency, supplier performance, and value creation while ensuring compliance with company policies and US market regulations.
The Procurement Specialist will be responsible for administering and leading competitive bidding processes (RFPs), negotiating commercial terms (pricing and contractual), proposal analysis, commercial reports issuance, and evaluating and selecting suppliers in accordance with company policies primarily in the areas of Business & 3rd party Services Procurement for company needs.
Procurement categories include: Marketing and PR (essential); Employment & Out staffing agencies; Agencies for contractor engagement; Consulting & Audit services; Telecommunication services; Office leases and supplies; other indirect categories

Your responsibilities will include: 

  • The Procurement Specialist will be responsible for multiple procurement projects at one time.
  • Formulates requests for proposal/quotations/information, bid analysis, tenders, and risk evaluations. Coordinates preparation of RFP and SoW.
  • Administers and leads cross-functional teams through the competitive bidding process, directs supplier negotiations, develops, evaluates, and selects suppliers in accordance with company policies.
  • Strategically source services and goods using a variety of methods to ensure an uninterrupted supply.
  • Evaluates and selects suppliers based on their ability to provide the goods/services and at costs consistent budgetary expectations.
  • Responsible for negotiation of contracts to minimize operational, legal, and financial risks. Collaborates with both internal and external legal counsel, as applicable.
  • Analyzes trends and makes corresponding sourcing decisions.
  • Participates in meetings with suppliers to rectify issues and to ensure suppliers are capable of meeting and are aware of the requirements and expectations.
  • Perform work according to department KPI goals and other duties as may be assigned

We expect you to have: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Economics, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline; or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional procurement experience, with mandatory expertise in Marketing and PR, HR services, professional services, and a strong understanding of the associated service categories.
  • Proven expertise in procurement processes, negotiation skills, vendor management, and contract negotiation.
  • Solid knowledge of business and third-party services purchasing, with a strong commercial focus on project-based contracts and service requirements.
  • Experience working in a high-performance, complex organizational environment with multiple systems and stakeholders, including compliance, safety, quality, and environmental management.
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey information to diverse audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
  • Self-motivated professional with excellent planning, project management, prioritization, and organizational skills.
  • Strong computer proficiency, including advanced use of Excel and the full Microsoft Office suite.
  • Familiarity with the ZIP procurement system is preferred.
