Ellasot Consulting is recruiting on behalf of a reputable company seeking a competent, detailed oriented Procurement Specialist (Remote) to join its team.
The ideal candidate would be responsible for managing the sourcing and procurement process for client Requests for Quotation (RFQs), ensuring timely, competitive, and technically compliant supplier quotations. The role involves engaging OEMs, authorized distributors, local representatives, and international buying houses to secure the best pricing, lead times, and commercial terms while supporting successful bid submissions within strict deadlines..
The Key Responsibilities
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Procurement, or a related discipline.
- Professional certification such as CIPS, CPSM, or equivalent is an added advantage.
- Minimum of 3–5 years of procurement, strategic sourcing, or bid support experience within the oil and gas, EPC, or energy sector.
- Knowledge of collaboration tools like Slack, Microsoft teams, google workspace
- Proven experience supporting RFQs from International Oil Companies (IOCs).
- Strong network of OEMs, authorized distributors, local representatives, and international buying houses.
- Ability to source technically compliant quotations within aggressive bid timelines.
- Good understanding of oil and gas equipment, materials, and procurement processes.
- Strong commercial acumen, supplier negotiation, and cost optimization skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for quotation analysis, cost comparisons, and bid evaluation.
- Working knowledge of SAP Ariba and other procurement or ERP systems.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple RFQs simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and commitment to quality.
