Avid is looking for a Procurement Senior Director! This is a fantastic opportunity to provide guidance on vendor decisions, oversee the team who executes on decisions, handle contract negotiations, proactively look for areas of operational improvement, communicate with stakeholders across the business, deliver savings/rationalization goals & foster a collaborative work environment.

This is a remote first position, located in the USA.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Establish systems and optimize processes to facilitate a seamless and efficient procurement motion. This will include a review of existing departmental processes, establishing SLAs & creating a plan for continual improvement.
  • Responsibly steward Avid’s resources – ensuring that the business makes sound decisions based on use case & market knowledge.
  • Manage vendor-related projects, unblocking issues, reporting on progress & ensuring deliverables are completed on time. Communicate across teams, delivering on savings goals & supporting wherever needed.
  • Handle contract negotiations directly, serving as an escalation point & or proxy where appropriate.
  • Set the tone for clear communications & processes.
  • Report on progress to C-Suite on a regular basis.
  • Build relationships and foster a positive team culture.
  • Manage an offshore Procurement team.
  • Collaborate with CFO office on departmental roadmap, leading initiatives for improvements and adjustments.

  • You have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a director or higher role (operational focus is a must, project management experience a bonus) and a proven track record of delivering on objectives.

US Pay Transparency Range $190,200.00 - $237,700.00
