Your Responsibilities
As a Process Engineer for A&CS Global Parts Operations located in Milan, IL, you will...
- Perform analysis on medium to large data sets to define project opportunities and sequencing.
- Work as part of a cross-functional team to provide detailed analysis related to facility optimization and capacity planning while also leading small to medium projects, including onsite coordination of contract installation resources
- Design warehouse layouts and storage solutions that align with facility operational requirements
- Work with various vendors (racking, material handling equipment, labor, etc.) to take designs to quote and through the internal procurement process
- Support optimization models for warehousing inventory capacity and inbound/outbound processing
- Develop small to medium projects that require business justifications for capital expenditures (AFEs)

What Skills You Need
- Experience supporting engineering projects in a factory, warehouse, and/or industrial environment
- 1 or more years experience with advanced Excel functions and medium to large data sets
- 1 or more years 2D drafting experience with AutoCAD
- Effective Communicator with experience in bringing cross functional teams (including shop floor employees) together to solve business problems
What Makes You Stand Out
- 1 or more years programming experiences in SQL, Python, R, SAS, Java or similar
- Experience in identifying and innovating process improvements, focusing on improving business results in safety, quality, productivity, or warehouse storage density
- Understanding of warehouse operation processes and terminology
- Experience creating data visualization and dashboards in Tableau, PowerBI or similar
- Project management experience in a factory, warehouse, and/or industrial environment
- Experience with building and presenting business justifications for project approvals or capital expenditures
- Experience with warehouse management/control systems (DNS, WCS, SAP or equivalent application)
- Experience with mechanical design, industrial equipment, or facility infrastructure
Education
Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Electrical), Analytics, Computer Science, or a similar mathematics-based discipline
