The Bellevue team is looking for a Process Development Lead Engineer.

Responsibilities:

  • Explore new technologies and develop advanced processes to enable the production of CMP pads with new functionalities and features.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams such as Pad R&D, Marketing, Quality, Manufacturing Technology and others, to develop solutions for top tier customers in the CMP industry.
  • Managing scientific, technical, or information projects, coordinating with other professionals, such as manufacturing, marketing, sales, supply chain and support personnel, to develop and commercialize new products.
  • Demonstrating functional excellence in the application of the scientific method and design of experiments
  • Timely documentation and generation of intellectual property through patent filing and trade secrets.
  • Enabling business decisions via clear communication of results to technical teams, management, and customers
  • Being an active member of broader R&D community to drive growth in core market segments and transformational technology platforms.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors or Masters in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering and 10 years or more of work experience in process and product development.
  • PhD and 5 years of work experience with polymer processing or advanced manufacturing. Experience in the electronic industry is highly preferred.

Additional Qualifications:

  • Additional expertise in the following areas may be advantageous: process development, mechanical design, CNC equipment programing, materials processing, control systems, data analysis, computational modelling, material sciences, polymer chemistry, materials characterization.
