This role focuses on ensuring responsible and compliant personal data handling practices under a multi-jurisdictional privacy framework, including the GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, Australia's Privacy Act, and other evolving data protection regimes.

What You'll be Doing
- Global Privacy Program Support
- Operationalize and maintain internal privacy processes that align with major global data protection laws and regulatory frameworks.
- Maintain records of processing activities (RoPAs), manage data inventories, and support data classification efforts across geographies.
- Conduct Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs) and Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs) for projects that span multiple regulatory jurisdictions.
- Stay current with global privacy developments and contribute to internal policy updates and awareness materials.
Sales & Contractual Compliance- Review and support negotiation of privacy-related terms in contracts, including Data Processing Agreements (DPAs), Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs), and cross-border data transfer provisions.
- Provide guidance to sales, legal, and procurement teams on privacy compliance implications for multi-national customer and vendor arrangements.
- Complete customer privacy questionnaires, audit checklists, and due diligence documentation with attention to varying jurisdictional requirements.
- Support review and documentation of data broker agreements and disclosures as required under applicable privacy laws.
Marketing, Cookies & Consent- Collaborate with marketing and growth teams to ensure compliant practices related to email campaigns, lead capture, remarketing, and personalization.
- Oversee cookie consent and tracking compliance by managing the Consent Management Platform (CMP) and performing regular audits of web properties.
- Support maintenance of privacy notices, cookie policies, and user-facing disclosures.
Collaboration & Support- Partner with cross-functional teams to promote privacy-by-design in global initiatives, products, and business processes.
- Collaborate with the company's European Data Protection Officer (DPO) on EU regulatory requirements, DPIAs, and compliance projects involving EU data subjects.
- Support general privacy training and onboarding efforts across departments, as needed.
General & Ad Hoc Responsibilities- Contribute to internal documentation, audits, assessments, and process improvements.
- Perform other privacy-related duties and special projects as requested by leadership or as needed to support regulatory, business, or customer requirements.

About You
- 5-7 years of experience in privacy, data protection, legal compliance, or data governance, ideally within a SaaS or multinational technology company.
- Deep familiarity with multiple privacy regimes, such as GDPR (EU/UK), CCPA/CPRA (California), Australia's Privacy Act, and other international frameworks.
- Demonstrated experience applying privacy principles in global contract reviews, marketing workflows, and SaaS business models.
- Working knowledge of cross-border data transfer mechanisms, including SCCs, adequacy decisions, and TIA assessments.
- Experience with tools such as OneTrust, TrustArc, BigID, or comparable privacy management platforms.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with international stakeholders from legal, sales, marketing, and engineering.
- Preferred certifications: CIPP/E, CIPP/US, CIPM, or equivalent global credentials.
