Description
The Print Production Associate is responsible for handling all aspects of the production process for a wide range of signage products. This role demands a high level of precision and efficiency in production, assembly, fulfillment, installation, and inventory management, along with maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the shop.
Essential Functions and Duties
- Production & assembly: Assemble and prepare products for installation or delivery, ensuring accuracy and quality. Prioritize orders for finishing /production. Operate various printing and production equipment (sewing machine, laminator) to produce high-quality sign products.
- Quality Control: Conduct quality checks throughout the production process to ensure all products meet company standards and client specifications. Ensure there are 2 QC sign offs on every job. Address and resolve any issues that arise during production.
- Shop Maintenance: Maintain cleanliness of equipment and work environment to ensure printers and devices maintain operational status. Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
- Fulfillment & Shipping: Manage the packing and shipping/delivery of final products, ensuring they are securely and efficiently prepared for delivery, including scheduling, assisting w/ loading freight orders as needed. Coordinate with Project Coordinators on pick up times, size/weight for scheduling LTL orders. Coordinate with the sales team and clients to confirm delivery schedules and requirements.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records of materials and supplies. Order and restock materials as needed, ensuring the availability of necessary items for production. Receive, verify, and stock incoming material shipments and deliveries from outside vendors.
- Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with other team members and departments to ensure smooth operation and timely completion of projects. Communicate effectively with team members regarding production schedules, deadlines, and any challenges.
Requirements
- High school graduate
- Sewing experience is a plus
- Previous sign and graphics or Desing experience is a plus
