Working at Atlassian
Atlassians can choose where they work - whether in an office, from home, or a combination of the two. That way, Atlassians have more control over supporting their family, personal goals, and other priorities. We can hire people in any country where we have a legal entity. Interviews and onboarding are conducted virtually, a part of being a distributed-first company.
Atlassian is looking for a Principal Product Marketing Manager responsible for shaping the future of Rovo , Atlassian's flagship AI product. In this role, you'll sit at the center of product, marketing, narrative, strategy, informing roadmap, and unlocking adoption through customer insights, and storytelling.
This is an ideal role for a tenured PMM who is creative, and strategically minded, and passionate about bringing innovative products to market. You'll own positioning, partner with product to influence what we build, and work across teams to ensure Rovo drives real customer value and sustained growth.
You won't just support GTM - you'll shape it, with a deep focus on positioning, activation, experimentation, and storytelling that connects users to product value.
Responsibilities
  • Positioning & Narrative: Develop crisp, compelling narrative that differentiates Rovo in a fast-evolving AI market. Ensure it's rooted in customer insights, market opportunity, drives thought leadership and resonates with target audience.
  • Adoption & Growth Strategy: Define growth narrative and strategy for planning. Lead performance rhythm of business to drive critical product adoption and inform data-informed marketing.
  • Executive-level Communications: Synthesize insights and present tradeoffs to senior leadership, influence roadmap, pricing, packaging, and storytelling that scales.
  • Roadmap & Strategy Partnership: Serve as a key voice of the customer to inform product roadmap and prioritization. Collaborate closely with PMM, Product Management and Design to align product strategy with market opportunities and growth potential.
  • Go-to-Market Planning: Partner with cross-functional teams to launch new features, campaigns, and growth motions. Ensure launches are informed by customer needs and GTM efforts are tied to measurable business outcomes.
  • Customer & Competitive Insights: Lead research efforts to understand user needs, use cases, and market trends. Turn insights into actionable recommendations that influence both product direction and marketing tactics.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work hand-in-hand with Product, Analytics, Design, Growth, and Sales to align on goals, share insights, and create cohesive customer experiences.
