  • Champion design systems, reusable patterns, and scalable component frameworks in partnership with engineering teams.
  • Drive adoption of AI-powered UX patterns such as personalization, conversational interactions, and agent-assisted journeys.
  • Conduct competitive research, heuristic evaluations, and user studies to uncover opportunities and pain points.
  • Create journey maps, personas, storyboards, and frameworks that connect user behaviors to business outcomes.
  • Define measurable UX success criteria, and guide teams toward data-backed decision making.

Information Architecture (IA)

  • Conduct research to understand how users navigate, discover, and consume content across web platforms.
  • Create and maintain sitemaps, user flows, IA models, and navigation frameworks.
  • Establish taxonomy, metadata standards, and content hierarchies ensuring consistency across all digital touchpoints.

Cross-Functional Influence

  • Present findings, design strategies, and recommendations to senior leadership audiences, including VP- and GM-level groups.
  • Influence roadmaps and planning processes without direct authority by providing clarity through frameworks and best practices.
  • Promote a design-mature culture grounded in experimentation, data insights, and user-centered thinking.

Governance & Operations

  • Define standards for accessibility, performance, usability, and content quality.
  • Build and maintain design governance assets such as pattern libraries, UX guidelines, and operational playbooks.
  • Partner with operations and vendor management to ensure external agencies deliver high-quality, UX-aligned work.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction, Design, or a related technical field.
  • 10+ years of UX/UI design experience focused on web-based digital products.
  • Strong expertise in user research, information architecture, design systems, and responsive UI development.
  • Proven experience with data-driven and hypothesis-driven design approaches.
  • Experience collaborating in cross-functional environments with engineering, analytics, and product teams.
  • Strong communication and storytelling skills, especially when presenting to leadership.
  • Ability to translate complex requirements into simple, intuitive interface designs.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience designing for large consumer-scale web ecosystems.
  • Familiarity with AI-powered UX patterns such as personalization, agentic navigation, and conversational flows.
  • Experience with A/B testing, experimentation platforms, and UX measurement frameworks.
