BAE Systems in Austin, TX is currently undergoing an exciting period of growth. We are looking for talented Software professionals to help us create the world's most advanced solutions in areas including Aircraft Protection, Radar Warning and Electronic Attack for our defense related customers. For this position, we are looking for a Software Engineer to apply her/his skills to developing high-quality, real-time embedded software for fielded electronics platforms.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

• 4+ Years of Professional Experience and a Bachelors Degree in an Engineering Field
• Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance
• Experience with C/C++, Python, Gitlab, and CI/CD
• Experience in Software Development in Linux
• Experience in Hands on Integrating Testing of Electronic systems
• Experience developing Software on an Agile team

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

• Active Secret Clearance
• Experience with Automated Unit Testing Suites like GoogleTest or unittest
• Experience developing Real Time Embedded Software applications
• Containerized Development and Automation experience
• Experience in Software Development supporting a full project lifecycle
• Kernel and Driver Development

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $118095 - $200762
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
