Job Overview:

We are looking for an inspired Principal Software Engineer to drive the development and deployment of cutting-edge cloud-native web applications leveraging technologies including .Net core, C#, Angular, and artificial intelligence. The candidate will be working in a high-velocity program both independently and/or with one or more Scrum teams in the Account Lifecycle Management domain.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, implementation, and development of dynamic account opening and account maintenance applications.

  • Explore and implement AI based solutions to enhance the account opening and client onboarding systems.

  • Develop positive relationships with business partners to understand their needs, manage expectations, deliver value-add solutions and support translation of problem statements into system requirements.

  • Assess opportunities for application and process improvements and show success through KPIs.

  • Full application life-cycle coordination and management of deliverables in alignment with best practices and organizational compliance goals

  • Collaborate with other shared services teams (technical and non-technical) to ensure solutions and platforms are both functional and sustainable.

  • Use customer and business feedback to inform roadmaps and non-functional goals.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in computer science, or a related field

  • 12+ years of professional software development experience in object-oriented programming language preferable .NET, Angular and JavaScript, PostgreSQL, Cloud Containers and Server-less Components, CSS

  • 6+ years in a technical team leadership capacity

  • 3+ years of experience building cloud-native solutions on AWS

  • 3+ years of financial services/brokerage firm experience required

Core Competencies:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences

Preferences:

  • Broad background in cloud native technologies, specifically: .NET, Angular and JavaScript, AI patterns and applications, PostgreSQL, Cloud Containers and Serverless Components, CSS

  • Experience building Responsive and Reactive user interfaces.

  • Experience working within both Agile and Waterfall methodologies

  • Experience with DevOps processes


 

Pay Range:

$155,288-$258,813/year
 
Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
