Challenges You Will Solve
As a Principal Product Marketing Manager at Red Canary, you will lead critical initiatives to increase awareness and adoption of our Security Operations platform, focusing initially on our rapidly evolving AI solutions and voice of customer program.
Reporting to the VP of Product Marketing, this strategic role involves leading cross-functional efforts across sales, marketing, customer success, partner, community, and product management to develop, execute, and refine our go-to-market strategy. This includes messaging and positioning, content creation, sales enablement, product launches, campaigns, and other key GTM activities.
What You'll Do
- Develop and execute the go-to-market strategy for Red Canary's AI offerings by analyzing market trends and gathering feedback from various sources (analysts, customers, partners, stakeholders, internal teams).
- Craft compelling messaging and positioning to differentiate Red Canary in the market.
- Collaborate with field leadership to optimize the customer journey, ensuring targeted and timely communication with prospects and customers.
- Act as an internal advocate for customer needs, influencing go-to-market and product development.
- Create customer-facing content (datasheets, presentations, videos, webinars, blog posts, case studies) to support marketing programs.
- Work with sales enablement to produce sales tools, playbooks, and competitive analysis to drive opportunity and revenue.
- Adapt direct messaging and campaigns into materials that support growth within channel and alliance partnerships.
- Spearhead AI-focused product launches, including developing launch briefs and messaging, coordinating internal training, briefing external stakeholders, and supporting marketing program development.
What You'll Bring
- 8+ years of B2B software marketing, including 3+ years product marketing for technical products in IT, data, AI, or cybersecurity (or equivalent transferable experience).
- Executive communication including proven written and verbal communication skills to senior stakeholders.
- Experience translating complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
- Inherent curiosity to understand technology and user motivations; proven ability to derive actionable insights from data (field, customer, competition) to influence buyer and seller behavior.
- Thrives in a fast-paced, hyper-growth environment with a strong desire for continuous learning.
- Demonstrated success working cross-functionally to meet shared revenue objectives, effectively balancing internal and external stakeholder needs.
The targeted base salary for this role is $158,832 - $200,000 per year. This role is also eligible for participation in the company's bonus program, and eligible for a grant of stock options, subject to the approval of the company's board of directors. The application deadline is June 5th, 2025.
