Your Impact
The Principal Product Manager focuses on product design strategy and high-level plans at the product portfolio or enterprise level. This role serves as a product management subject matter expert, providing a high level of expertise across a product domain. This role also participates in the design of the long-term product strategy for the enterprise, providing a high level of expertise in product area(s) that can be applied to multiple product groups. In these scenarios, this role will own the entire product and delivery process, responsible for end-to-end delivery, identifying all requirements and delivering the optimal solution.
What You Will Do
  • Participates in the design of the long-term product strategy for a large product portfolio or a complex product.
  • Influences the strategic direction of a product domain to ensure a strong optimal solution.
  • Extends influence across the organization and enterprise leveraging objective and key result framework in line with the long-term product strategy for the enterprise.
  • Identifies relevant components of a competitive analysis and organizes persona-based research to gain end to end real-world understanding of customer needs to inform and influence that span the product portfolio or enterprise.
  • Understands user types and sets the standard for what "excellent" products are for the enterprise aligned to the strategy.
  • Identify ways to improve the delivery of cross-functional products to ensure optimal solutions are delivered.
  • Sets the standard across the product team and enterprise to build usable, viable, and feasible products.
  • Builds frameworks for product marketing across their product domain to drive a deep understanding of the products in their space with peers and leaders.
  • Builds a product metric-driven culture and uses metrics to drive outstanding product insights across the portfolio.
  • Elevates domain mindsets based on industry trends to set product direction plan and priorities to ensure the domain is at or above industry norm.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, engineering, communications, or related field or equivalent experience
  • 10 years of experience in two or more of the following: project management, product management, business analysis, program management, experimentation, or product marketing
  • 7 years of experience in product and/or experience management
  • Experience in an agile software environment with strong writing ability
  • Experience working cross-functionally in a large organization with senior leadership
  • Experience translating data into quantifiable actions/deliverables

Preferred Skills/Education
  • Master's degree in business administration or similar advanced degree or equivalent experience
  • Experience providing guidance and direction to cross-functional resources
  • Experience owning a P&L
  • CSPO Certification
