Dandy is transforming the massive ($200B) but antiquated dental industry. Backed by some of the world's leading venture capital investors, we are on an ambitious mission to integrate and simplify every function of the dental practice through technology. By building the operating system for every dental office in America, Dandy is empowering dentists with technology, innovation, and world-class support to achieve more for their practice, their people, and their patients.

About Dandy

Dandy is transforming the antiquated $200B dental lab market through supply chain excellence and groundbreaking innovation. We are redefining how high-volume, completely-custom restorative products are designed and manufactured, setting a new standard in the industry with superior quality and unmatched turnaround times.

Our success is built on a foundation of cutting-edge supply chain systems that seamlessly connect every part of the business—from checkout to design to production. Our manufacturing and design systems empower our teams to deliver exceptional outcomes for our dentists, at scale.

About the Role

We’re hiring a Principal Product Manager to lead the development of our production planning, scheduling, orchestration, and execution systems. In this role, you will drive the vision, strategy, and execution of mission-critical systems that will help us scale our supply chain efficiently and meet customer demand. You will collaborate closely with our design, manufacturing, and sales & operations planning (S&OP) teams to deliver solutions that streamline workflows, improve visibility, improve On Time Delivery (OTD) and enhance production performance.

This role offers a unique opportunity to shape the future of our supply chain strategy. If you have a passion for manufacturing systems and a strong background in operational technology and factory-floor optimization and automation, this role is for you.

What You'll Do

Product development at Dandy is an extremely collaborative effort, with multiple teams composed of UX, Engineering, and Product Management empowered to solve the most important problems for the business at large. As a Product Manager you will:

  • Define the vision and strategy for our MES, production planning, and scheduling systems to support efficient design and manufacturing operations at scale.

  • Champion operational users by developing deep empathy for their workflows and pain points and ensuring the solutions meet their needs.

  • Partner with cross-functional teams, including design, manufacturing, S&OP, and sales teams, to ensure seamless integration between planning and production execution.

  • Drive end-to-end product development, from ideation and requirements gathering to launch and subsequent iterations.

  • Develop deep expertise in manufacturing workflows, production orchestration, and planning processes, ensuring solutions reflect best practices and emerging trends in the industry.

  • Collaborate closely with engineering teams to define detailed product requirements, working side-by-side with them to deliver high-quality, scalable software.

  • Leverage data insights to guide decision-making, validate assumptions, and measure the success of your initiatives.

  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure alignment on strategy and prioritization of opportunities.

  • Communicate clearly and transparently with your teams and stakeholders to ensure shared understanding of context, goals, and progress.

What We're Looking For

We are looking for strategic product thinkers who have experience delivering solutions in operationally complex environments. Ideally, you are comfortable navigating both technical and operational challenges and can manage competing priorities while keeping the end-user’s needs at the center.

  • 10-15 years of product management experience, ideally with a background in manufacturing, factory floor systems, or supply chain technology.

  • Previous experience building or integrating an MES (Manufacturing Execution System) and complementary systems (MRP, ERP, WFM)

  • Strong collaboration skills and experience working closely with engineering, design, and operational teams.

  • Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders across multiple functions and drive alignment at all levels of the organization.

  • Comfortable operating in a highly ambiguous space where the business problem and strategy are not yet defined.

  • High bias for action—you are resourceful, proactive, and excel at breaking down barriers to get things done.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to make informed decisions.

  • Customer-focused mindset and the ability to empathize with operational users, designing intuitive workflows and systems that address real-world challenges.

  • Technical fluency, with an understanding of APIs and system integrations (you don’t need to code but must be comfortable engaging in technical discussions).

  • Strong project management skills, with experience managing the lifecycle of complex cross-functional technology initiatives, handling both tactical and strategic needs.

Bonus Points For

  • Experience building systems for supply chain orchestration, scheduling, or planning.

  • Time spent at a manufacturing-focused or operationally intensive company.

  • SQL knowledge and comfort working with data to extract insights.

  • Experience at a venture-backed startup during a phase of hypergrowth.

Why Join Us?

This is a rare opportunity to shape the core infrastructure of our manufacturing and production processes. Your work will directly impact how we scale to meet demand, streamline operations, and build systems that set us up for future success. If you are passionate about supply chain technology and ready to make a lasting impact, we want to hear from you!

  • Experience at an operationally-intensive company.

  • Comfortable with writing SQL queries.

  • Previous experience in the dental or medical industries.
