Who we are
At Fortis Games we aspire to make great games that bring people together while redefining how game companies work. We believe in building a sense of belonging through our games, their communities, and how we operate and treat each other. Through our game communities, we will create powerful connections and lasting memories. We will foster a culture of diversity, equity and belonging where together our diverse skills, experiences and backgrounds impact the games we make.
We are an early but mighty organization with a leadership team of game industry veterans. There are many opportunities for you to have a big impact on the products we'll be making as well as the overall direction of the company. If you're passionate about tackling difficult problems with direct and thoughtful communication and team first mentality, we may be the right place for you.

About the role

We're looking for a forward-thinking Principal Product Manager (AI) to lead the discovery, evaluation, and adoption of Artificial Intelligence technologies that transform how we build and operate our games. This is a high-impact, cross-functional role focused on leveraging AI to accelerate development, increase efficiency across our studios and publishing teams, and unlock new creative capabilities. You’ll work at the intersection of game development, platform engineering, creative tools, and business operations — identifying the highest-leverage opportunities where AI can truly move the needle.

What you’ll achieve

  • Drive AI Strategy & Vision
Define and evolve our company-wide approach to AI, aligning opportunities with business priorities across game development, liveops, ad creative, and publishing.
  • Discover & Evaluate AI Solutions
Lead hands-on exploration and rigorous evaluation of third-party AI tools, ML models and platforms, as well as contribute as a hands-on product manager working with our in-house AI R&D team to build Fortis-built AI solutions.
  • Lead Cross-Functional Pilots
Run structured pilot programs with partner teams to validate real-world impact of AI tools — balancing technical feasibility, creative quality, and workflow integration.
  • Define Product Requirements
Translate studio and team needs into clear product requirements for internal tools or integrations that embed AI into workflows in meaningful, usable ways.
  • Measure Impact
Define and track success metrics that demonstrate the business value of AI adoption — such as time saved, quality improved, or speed of iteration increased.
    Build Partnerships
Collaborate with engineering, UX, data science, game teams, and external vendors to evaluate build vs. buy tradeoffs and ensure smooth deployment.
  • Act as AI Thought Leader
Stay ahead of the rapidly evolving AI landscape and educate internal teams on emerging trends, capabilities, and risks.

What you’ll need to be successful

  • 7+ years of product management experience in games, creative tools, or productivity platforms.
  • Demonstrated experience building and scaling AI-powered products in real-world production environments.
  • Deep understanding of AI technologies relevant to game development, including generative AI (text, image, animation), procedural content generation, and machine learning pipelines.
  • Strategic thinker with strong product instincts, skilled at shaping product vision, prioritizing complex roadmaps, and driving measurable impact
  • Passionate about enabling creative and technical teams to work faster and more efficiently.
  • Excellent communicator with experience leading in cross-functional, fast-paced environments.
  • Familiarity with mobile game development workflows strongly preferred.
  • Technical fluency in generative AI, NLP, or ML a plus.

Why join us
There are many reasons to join us, but here are a few:

  • We strongly believe we are changing how games studios operate and at the core of what we do is making great games that create a connected community
  • We're not just about making Games Where You Belong. We're also about building communities where our people belong. That's why Fortis is a thriving environment that celebrates diversity, embraces inclusivity, and fosters growth.
  • Build and grow with a seasoned team of accomplished talent who have left an impactful mark in their disciplines, both in and out of gaming

All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, national origin, protected veteran status, or any other basis protected by applicable law, and will not be discriminated against on the basis of disability.
