Overview

As a Principal Partner Manager, you will strategically expand and accelerate partner-sourced revenue by autonomously enabling dozens of partner sales teams and hundreds of partner sales representatives. You will be responsible for end-to-end execution, including developing and delivering advanced training(s), administering comprehensive certifications, leading field enablement initiatives, and ensuring partners possess the optimal collateral and processes to effectively sell Electric.

This role requires a high degree of independence and collaboration with Product, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success to drive significant adoption and measurable outcomes, operating at a level of influence and responsibility comparable to a manager, but without direct reports.

What you’ll do

  • Independently deliver against ambitious customer acquisition and revenue targets established for each partner.

  • Serve as the primary strategic point of contact for partners, acting as a high-level liaison with internal teams, including Product, Marketing, Services, and Customer Success.

  • Build and strengthen deep partner relationships, including developing and maintaining multi-year strategic plans, leading ongoing status meetings, and facilitating executive Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs).

  • Proactively optimize internal processes and operations related to partner solutions, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions.

  • Identify, develop, and execute joint go-to-market opportunities, working closely with Marketing and Sales to drive these initiatives to success.

  • Maintain and strategically distribute partner-specific assets, including advanced marketing resources and comprehensive internal/external enablement materials.

  • Lead the execution of all partner enablement: design and deliver live trainings/webinars, conduct advanced demo rehearsals, and administer certifications for partner sales teams and representatives.

  • Provide high-level support for field enablement (train-the-trainer, joint executive call shadowing, strategic event/booth support) and manage all associated logistics (scheduling, Learning Management System (LMS) uploads, attendance tracking, access provisioning).

  • Track and analyze attendance, completions, and enablement engagement; share strategic insights and partner feedback with internal owners for continuous improvement and program evolution.

  • Significantly contribute to Electric’s overall partnership strategy through disciplined execution, clear communication, and thought leadership.

Who you are

  • 8+ years of progressive experience with strategic partners or customers in Partner Management, Account Management, Business Development, Customer Success, or Sales/Field Enablement within technology/SaaS.

  • Proven ability to autonomously design and execute enablement programs for large, diverse seller populations (trainings, certifications, logistics) across multiple partner organizations.

  • Exceptional facilitator and presenter; highly comfortable leading executive-level webinars, workshops, and live Q&A sessions.

  • Must be willing to travel up to 30-40% of the time to attend partner or company onsite meetings, conferences, and trade shows.

  • Superior operational skills: strategic planning, complex coordination, detailed documentation, and comprehensive reporting with meticulous attention to detail.

  • Highly collaborative, positive, and consultative problem solver who thrives in cross-functional, fast-paced environments.

  • Executive-level communicator with strong verbal and written skills, capable of influencing diverse stakeholders.

  • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment; able to bring significant process and structure to evolving partner motions with minimal supervision.

  • Highly proficient with advanced LMS/enablement platforms, webinar tools, and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) reporting and analytics.

Excited about the opportunity, but worried you don’t meet all the requirements? We recognize that people are less likely to apply to jobs where they don’t meet every single qualification. Imposter syndrome can get in the way of meeting spectacular candidates. We encourage you to apply anyway, and give us both the chance to find out if you’re the right candidate for this or other roles!
