Our Wireless Technology team is transforming the future of connectivity by building and enhancing the country's first virtualized, standalone 5G wireless network from scratch. Job Duties and Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead vendor engineering reviews and lab-based Proof of Concept testing for hardware and software development.
- Support Market Teams by troubleshooting complex RF and RAN system issues and escalating to vendors when necessary.
- Develop and maintain performance metrics and service assurance measures for deployed systems.
- Coordinate changes with Certification Labs and ensure validation prior to deployment.
- Produce updated technical specifications and release plans, ensuring alignment with CI/CD, orchestration, and automation standards.
- Collaborate with technical writers to document configurations and MOPs; participate in on-call support rotation as needed.
Skills, Experience and Requirements
Education and Experience:
- BS or MS in Engineering or technical degree or an equivalent combination of highly related experience and education
- 10+ years of experience in the wireless industry
Skills and Qualifications:
- Deep expertise in 5G ORAN/vRAN architectures, including split functions (7-2x, RU, DU, CU) and virtualized software systems per 3GPP Rel 15 & 16.
- Strong understanding of RF radio operations over eCPRI, CSR, DU/timing configurations, and latency considerations from gNB to data centers.
- Experience with virtualized networks, orchestration, automation, and large-scale network architectures.
- Skilled in analyzing LTE, VoLTE, and 5G VoNR L2/L3 call flows using PCAPs and gNB traces.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams and all organizational levels.
- Self-motivated and adaptable, thriving in fast-paced environments and able to manage multiple priorities while contributing to team success.
Salary Ranges
Compensation: $127,050.00/Year - $181,500.00/Year

The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location.
