About this role:
Wells Fargo's Consumer Banking and Lending's Marketing Science organization is seeking a Principal Analytics Consultant for Consumer Lending Marketing Analytics to join a new centralized analytics function that will transform how we drive marketing strategy across our consumer lending portfolio. This is a rare strategic individual contributor opportunity that offers executive visibility and influence.
As a Principal Analytics Consultant, you'll be the analytical "voice of truth" for consumer lending marketing leadership, working directly with executive-level stakeholders to shape billion-dollar investment decisions across Cards, Personal Loans, Auto, and Home Lending. You'll have a seat at the executive table, presenting regularly to senior leadership and driving strategic decisions through the power of your insights.
This role is a founding team member opportunity at an organizational inflection point: Marketing is evolving to a customer-first, portfolio-optimization approach and analytics is the foundation of that transformation. You'll partner directly with senior Marketing stakeholders to build monthly performance narratives, translate marketing investments into clear business outcomes (PV, ROMI, NPV), and provide rapid-turnaround analysis on critical strategic questions. You'll lead the monthly bottoms-up marketing forecast across all consumer lending products, conduct scenario analyses and investment tradeoff modeling, and uncover cross-product opportunities by analyzing customer journeys across the lending portfolio.
