About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a strategic and execution-oriented leader to oversee the comprehensive delivery of the Unified Software & Infrastructure Automation Platform—an essential initiative revolutionizing the firm's software development, deployment, and governance across its hybrid infrastructure environment. This role is part of the Application and Cloud Transformation (ACT) team and part of the CTO organization. This position will focus on guiding the initiative across multiple contributing teams, ensuring architectural integrity, program alignment, and measurable progress. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical proficiency, strong program leadership, stakeholder engagement skills, and the ability to operate effectively within a matrixed organization.
In this role, you will:
- Drive the strategy, roadmap, and execution plan for the Unified Software & Infrastructure Automation Platform in collaboration with key stakeholders.
- Ensure alignment and coordination across the delivery of core platform capabilities, including, declarative infrastructure definitions and automation frameworks, abstraction and portability layers supporting hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
- Implement reusable, policy-compliant components that support application assembly
- Integrate compliance automation across the development and deployment lifecycle
- Orchestrate use of tools and self-service capabilities enhancing developer productivity and operational consistency
- Collaborate with technology risk, security, and audit teams to integrate robust compliance capabilities throughout the SDLC.
- Promote automation of asset management and change validation processes in accordance with ITIL standards.
- Lead through influence across contributing teams—driving alignment, identifying and resolving blockers, and achieving milestones.
- Advocate for intuitive and efficient user experiences for developers, product owners, and platform consumers.
- Communicate program vision, value, and progress effectively to senior technology leadership and across contributing towers.
Required Qualifications:
- 7+ years of Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 7+ year of strong understanding of cloud, DevOps, CI/CD, infrastructure as code, and SDLC best practices
- 7+ years of proven success in driving delivery across cross-functional teams within a large, matrixed organization
- 5+ years of experience with ITIL processes and embedding governance in automation pipelines
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience in financial services or similarly regulated environments.
- Familiarity with tools such as GitHub, Jira, Terraform, Kubernetes, and CI/CD orchestration platforms.
- Exposure to platform product management and developer portal experiences
- Demonstrated experience integrating risk and compliance into platform or product strategies.

Pay Range
Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
$144,400.00 - $300,000.00Benefits
