About the role:

As a Sr. CMF Designer within the Taste Design Team, you will lead the global strategy for Color, Material, and Finish (CMF) across our product portfolio. You’ll shape how CMF creates brand differentiation, inspires consumers, and drives material innovation and sustainability.

This is a strategic and hands-on role where you’ll collaborate across disciplines to ensure CMF excellence from concept to market. You’ll be a key voice in defining how our products look, feel, and resonate with users—while mentoring others and pushing boundaries in design and sustainability.

What you’ll do:

As a Sr. CMF Designer, you will lead the CMF strategy and execution for future home appliances and experiences. If you’re a visionary designer with a passion for materials, storytelling, and sustainability, this is your opportunity to make a global impact.

In detail, you will:

  • Lead the development and execution of CMF strategy across categories and regions.

  • Drive excellence in CMF delivery from concept to market, preserving design intent.

  • Partner with Business, R&D, Marketing, and Procurement to identify opportunities and influence innovation.

  • Manage project delivery across multiple programs, balancing strategy and execution.

  • Define and maintain CMF specifications, coordinate build reviews, and ensure quality.

  • Advance material innovation with suppliers and R&D, focusing on sustainability.

  • Improve CMF processes, standards, and tools using color science and measurement.

  • Mentor and guide team members to elevate CMF design across the organization.

Who you are:

  • Degree in Industrial Design or a related field.

  • 7+ years of professional CMF experience, ideally in a global, design-led organization.

  • Proven track record of delivering outstanding design results.

  • Experience navigating complex organizations and cross-functional collaboration.

  • Willingness to travel and represent the Design Team globally.

  • Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.

Where you’ll be:

You will be based in our Charlotte, NC Design Studio, working closely with CMF colleagues across our global network.

Benefits include:

  • Flexible work hours and hybrid work environment.

  • Discounts on award-winning Electrolux products and services.

  • Family-friendly benefits including extended paternity leave.

  • Comprehensive insurance plans.

  • Extensive learning opportunities and a flexible career path.

As part of Electrolux Group, we will continuously invest in you and your development. There are no barriers to where your career could take you.
