Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic, mission-driven Business Development Account Executive – U.S. Army to manage sales of Shield AI’s products and maintain relationships with U.S. Army program offices. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of military sales, Army acquisition, program management, and operational requirements.
You will support all Shield AI Army programs through regular engagements and program management interactions. You will align internal Shield AI systems and processes to drive deals from opportunity identification through contract award and long-term account growth.
What you'll do:
- Execute critical business development activities focused on delivering Shield AI’s products to Army customers, collaborating closely with Army Program Managers and internal Shield AI departments.
- Drive Shield AI’s Army-centric business development and sales pipeline, meeting or exceeding 100% YoY revenue growth and contributing to the Company’s strategy for strategic transactions with full responsibility for a topline revenue number
- Liaise with Shield AI’s customers and internal teams, communicating technical information clearly and accurately and working with Product and Program Managers and Customer Success to ensure alignment between internal activities and customers’ operational and contractual requirements
- Proactively establish, cultivate, and manage relationships with Shield AI’s customers and end users
- Drive sales for Shield AI’s product line – both software and hardware - and cultivate interest in Shield AI’s future products with our Army customers
Required qualifications:
- You have a Bachelor’s degree, and 2+ years of management / sales, or operational experience within the US MIlitary
- You have a thorough understanding and knowledge of the military operations and the acquisition process that allows you to maintain strong customer relations
Preferred qualifications:
- MBA or related Master’s degree in a related field, and 6+ years of leadership and/or operational experience within the Army
- Demonstrated understanding of specific Army operational scenarios and systems
- Strong research and analysis skills
- Active Secret security clearance
