About this role:

The Technology for the Chief Administrative Office (TCAO) organization provides technology services for the Chief Administrative Office. This includes supply chain management, Enterprise Business Resiliency, Enterprise Change Management, Enterprise Risk Management, corporate properties and security functions. TCAO provides technology solutions and manages application portfolios for these groups to support technology modernization and optimization.

Within TCAO we are seeking a Principal Architect to join the Architecture Team to support Supply Chain & Corporate Properties and Security Architecture aligned to the Chief Administration Office. This role will lead various strategic initiatives build outs of capabilities and enable technology modernization and business transformation.

In this role, you will:

  • Act as an advisor to leadership to develop or influence applications, network, information security, database, operating systems, or web technologies for highly complex business and technical needs across multiple groups

  • Lead the strategy and resolution of highly complex and unique challenges requiring in-depth evaluation across multiple areas or the enterprise, delivering solutions that are long-term, large-scale and require vision, creativity, innovation, advanced analytical and inductive thinking

  • Translate advanced technology experience, an in-depth knowledge of the organizations tactical and strategic business objectives, the enterprise technological environment, the organization structure, and strategic technological opportunities and requirements into technical engineering solutions

  • Provide vision, direction and expertise to leadership on implementing innovative and significant business solutions

  • Design and drive implementation of AI-driven solutions to optimize business operations in administrative functions.

  • Maintain knowledge of industry best practices and new technologies and recommends innovations that enhance operations or provide a competitive advantage to the organization

  • Strategically engage with all levels of professionals and managers across the enterprise and serve as an expert advisor to leadership

Required Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

  • 7+ years of architecture in one or a combination of the following areas: enterprise architecture, solution architecture, data architecture, application architecture, infrastructure or security, or security architecture in large enterprise

  • 5+ years of information technology design experience including systems, applications or architecture

  • 3+ years of experience in leveraging AI/generative AI frameworks (e.g. GPT-4, LangChain) for operational optimization

  • 3+ years of experience in architecting and implementing conversational AI/agentic systems

  • 3+ years of workflow experience

Desired Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in financial services and banking domain

  • 3+ years of experience using industry standards such as BAG, BIAN, TOGAF and architecture modeling languages such as ArchiMate, UML, BPMN, etc. leveraging BizzDesign Horizzon

  • Deep understanding of cloud technologies (GCP, Azure) and familiarity with data center exit strategies

  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

  • Ability to influence across all organizational levels, particularly senior management

  • Ability to negotiate/challenge, influence, and collaborate to build successful relationships

  • Prior related experience leading and/or managing architecture strategies with architecture roadmap that aligns with business strategy and objectives

  • Good analytical skills to set data driven insights with high attention to detail and accuracy

  • Lead application consolidation and rationalization efforts and the related emerging technology assessments

Job Expectations:

  • This position offers a hybrid work schedule - ability to work in office

  • This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship

Salary Range: $144,400 - $222,200 - $300,000

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
