Role Overview:

As a Principal Consultant with Fractal.ai, you will play a pivotal client-facing leadership role, driving strategic growth and long-term value across key Consumer Packaged Goods accounts. This role combines deep domain expertise, advanced analytics and data engineering know-how, and strong consultative selling capabilities to help clients solve complex business problems and unlock measurable impact through AI and data-driven solutions.

You will be a trusted advisor and will partner closely with senior client stakeholders to shape and deliver high-impact transformation agendas, while collaborating internally with consulting, analytics, and capability teams to design and execute winning solutions. The role requires ownership of account growth, relationship management, and commercial outcomes, as well as the ability to influence strategy, lead pursuits, and represent Fractal as a strategic AI partner within the CPG ecosystem.

Responsibilities:

  • Strategically drive growth in named CPG accounts in close synergy with the capability and consulting teams and own client relationship, sales and margin targets by representing Fractal in key accounts.

  • Position Fractal solutions to meet client requirements and become a trusted advisor for services by effectively managing multi-threaded client relationships including senior client stakeholders.

  • Use knowledge of CPG industry, technology, processes, and consultative sales skills to assess and educate clients on the value of our business and implementation expertise.

  • Build in-depth knowledge of clients' business priorities, challenges and initiatives that can be translated into opportunities.

  • Proactively drive business development and pre-sales initiatives by leveraging expertise in both industry and technology.

  • Demonstrate ability to advance sales campaigns in a needs-based and highly participative fashion including consultative dialog, cross-functional engagement, and facilitated workshops. Partner with external partners and hyper scalers for joint GTM.

Mandatory Skills:

  • 15+ years of deep enterprise Data Engineering/Advanced analytics industry experience. Proven ability and ambition to drive client relationships and sales/pre-sales activities and be responsible for account growth.

  • CPG/Retail domain knowledge.

  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written

  • Ability to think on his/her feet and engage with both the business and analytical community.

  • Comfortable with ambiguity and collaboration in a cross-functional environment with demonstrated ability to work in teams and nurture talent.

  • Willingness to work with a geographically distributed team in an extremely fast-paced and challenging environment.

Pay:

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.  The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.  At Fractal, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.  A reasonable estimate of the current range is: Up to $250,000. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus for the current performance period.

Benefits:

As a full-time employee of the company or as an hourly employee working more than 30 hours per week, you will be eligible to participate in the health, dental, vision, life insurance, and disability plans in accordance with the plan documents, which may be amended from time to time.  You will be eligible for benefits on the first day of employment with the Company.  In addition, you are eligible to participate in the Company 401(k) Plan after 30 days of employment, in accordance with the applicable plan terms.   The Company provides for 11 paid holidays and 12 weeks of Parental Leave. We also follow a “free time” PTO policy, allowing you the flexibility to take the time needed for either sick time or vacation.
