Job Title:Pricing Manager / Revunue Growth - Hybrid

Role Overview:

As a Pricing Manager with significant experience successfully establishing pricing standards, managing pricing A/B tests & analyses, and tracking price performance, you’ll be a key member of a highly visible and tight-knit Pricing team. You’ll communicate key pricing insights and recommendations to stakeholders at all levels of the business in support of overall revenue goals.
Your experience in consumer software pricing, economic research (elasticity, demand) and online commerce will be fully utilized. This role requires strong collaboration with global, regional, and local stakeholders. Your ability to build solid working relationships with members of the Marketing, Sales, and Product teams in order to influence key partners will be critical to your success.
This is a Hybrid position based in New York City. When you are not working on-site, you will be working from your home office. We are only considering candidates within a commutable distance to the NYC office space and are not offering relocation assistance at this time.
Job Description

About the role:

  • Partner with Marketing and Product teams to design and execute pricing A/B tests

  • Perform detailed financial analysis to identify, validate, and quantify pricing recommendations across multiple regions and channels. Types of analysis include recommendations based on A/B test results, historical sales performance, competitive price reactions, promotional offer effectiveness, or qualitative studies

  • Use analyses to inform recommendations and guidelines across MSRP, standard offers, special promotional offers, and partner deals to achieve business objectives

  • Conduct internal price elasticity research in top markets to identify optimal price points for each product and ensure maximum value is captured in each market

  • Track and analyze the financial effects of price changes on key metrics such as conversion, retention, ASP, & LTV

  • Manage and set product-level pricing within our price tools

About you: 

  • 5+ years of a combination of consumer marketing and digital marketing experience in an e-commerce or online services company is required. Subscription-based business model is highly desirable

  • 4+ years of work experience in a pricing or commercialization role

  • Excellent analytical capabilities including financial modeling and advanced Excel is required; Experience with Tableau and CDW preferred

  • Experience with in-depth financial modeling as well as demonstrated analytical and statistical problem-solving skills, including data management skills and relational database programming

  • Experience executing A/B and MVT tests online, including ideation, execution, and reporting

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Marketing, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Mathematics) is preferred; advanced degree is preferred

  • Experience creating engaging and instructive PowerPoint presentations is preferred

  • Strategic thinker and problem-solver.  A passion for understanding pricing strategies and execution methodologies in a software and/or subscription business

  • Ability to independently drive projects and activities to successful conclusion is a must

  • Spirit of collaboration and understanding of teamwork is part of who we are

  • Sense of urgency, detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously

  • Strong interpersonal communication skills: you’re able to develop key relationships and influence teams to accomplish objectives

  • Understand the impact of changes and upgrades you make 

  • Ability to work independently with a solid sense of ownership
