Samsung SDS America is seeking for an Presales Solution Consultant to drive the presales efforts and adoption of our next-generation AI-Driven eProcurement SaaS solution Caidentia. In this role, you will shape the success of our SRM solution helping businesses revolutionize their supplier relationship management, especially procurement processes and achieve unprecedented efficiency and growth. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a new global business initiative, merging the entrepreneurial drive of a startup with the solid foundation of Samsung SDS America.

The successful candidate has a blend of technical expertise, industry acumen, and outstanding communication skills to engage with prospective clients, understand their business needs and technical requirements, and effectively demonstrate how the SRM solution can address their specific challenges around SRM. The SRM Pre-Sales Solution Consultant will collaborate with partners and act as a technical expert to support the entire sales process. The ability to connect technology with measurable business value is critical and you should have a demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, products, and technical challenges.

Location: This is a 100% remote role based in the US. Business travel is required up to 40%.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as a trusted advisor by understating the customer’s long term goals.
  • Work closely with customers to understand their requirements, scope projects and conduct product demonstrations.
  • Articulate technical concepts to all audiences, including C-level executives and customers.
  • Create compelling business solution strategy and roadmaps.
  • Complete required pre-sales documentation (configurations, services, proposals, presentations, justifications, etc.) .
  • Develop services scope, level of effort, and SOWs aligning to customer's required outcomes
  • Play a key role between Sales and Delivery in ensuring a smooth project execution and successful implementation.
  • Partner with our product team to continuously improve our offerings based on market demands, technology advancement, and client innovation.
  • Research new solutions and develop collateral for field enablement and customer facing use cases.
  • Engage in marketing campaigns and industry events.

Requirements
  • Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Engineering preferred or related degree required
  • 8 years of SaaS sales experience in technical sales or pre-sales roles within the SCM or SRM space
  • Strong background in business applications, preferably SCM and SRM.
  • Strong understand of direct procurement space is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of the supplier management, procurement processes, and supply chain dynamics.
  • Excellent customer relationship management skills, including effective oral and written communications.
  • Demonstrated ability to articulate complex ideas in a simple and understandable manner.
  • Experience communicating across technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Outstanding problem solving and analytical skills, including ability to build clear observations, analysis and conclusions based on customer interviews and data.
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly.
  • Flexibility to travel up to 40% of the time.
  • Eligibility to work in the US for any employer without restrictions.
  • Must be based in the US.
