What we do:
Halcyon is the industry’s first dedicated, adaptive security platform that combines multiple proprietary advanced prevention engines along with AI models focused specifically on stopping ransomware.

Who we are:
Halcyon was formed in 2021 by a team of cyber industry veterans after battling the scourge of ransomware (and advanced threats) for years at some of the largest global security vendors. Comprised of leaders from Cylance (now Blackberry), Accuvant (now Optiv), Fireye and ISS X-Force (now IBM), Halcyon is focused on building products and solutions for mid-market and enterprise customers.

As a remote-native, completely distributed global team, we recognize great talent can exist anywhere. We invite you to apply to a job you’re interested in and we'll work a plan to meet your needs.

The Role

Halcyon is redefining cyber resilience and ransomware prevention—and we’re looking for a Channel Solutions Architect to help scale our impact through our partner ecosystem. This role combines deep technical expertise with business acumen to educate, enable, and empower partners to position, sell, and support the Halcyon platform.

You’ll act as a trusted technical advisor across our reseller, MSSP, and alliance partners, driving enablement, joint go-to-market efforts, and proof-of-concept success. The ideal candidate understands both the technical depth of modern cybersecurity solutions and the nuances of partner sales motions. You’ll collaborate closely with Channel Account Managers, Sales, Product, and Marketing teams to ensure partners can deliver the Halcyon value proposition confidently and consistently.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a technical contact for Halcyon channel partners, providing architecture guidance, demos, and hands-on enablement.
  • Drive partner technical enablement through training sessions, workshops, and joint technical engagements.
  • Collaborate with Channel Account Managers to identify, develop, and accelerate partner-led opportunities through all stages of the sales cycle.
  • Deliver partner-facing technical presentations and product demonstrations, including tailored proof-of-concepts or pilot programs.
  • Support partner onboarding and certification programs to ensure partners can independently position and implement the Halcyon platform.
  • Maintain strong technical relationships with partner sales engineers and technical leads to build mindshare and loyalty.
  • Gather field and partner feedback to influence product direction and feature prioritization.
  • Work cross-functionally with Product Management, Engineering, and Customer Success to ensure alignment between partner needs and platform evolution.
  • Represent Halcyon at industry events, partner summits, and webinars to build brand awareness and demonstrate thought leadership.
  • Stay current on emerging ransomware trends, endpoint defense innovations, and competitive landscapes to strengthen partner capabilities.

Skills and Qualifications

  • 5–8+ years of experience in cybersecurity-focused solutions architecture or technical pre-sales roles.
  • Prior experience supporting channel or partner ecosystems (VARs, MSSPs, distributors, or alliance partners).
  • Deep understanding of cybersecurity fundamentals across areas, including endpoint protection, incident response, threat intelligence, and ransomware defense.
  • Strong technical knowledge of modern security platforms and integrations.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for diverse audiences, including partner executives and technical teams.
  • Business development mindset—able to connect technical capabilities to partner revenue growth and competitive differentiation.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent technical experience.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% for partner events, trainings, and joint sales initiatives.

Preferred Skills and Certifications

  • Experience in pre-sales enablement or technical evangelism roles for cybersecurity products.
  • Familiarity with partner program structures, incentives, and technical certification frameworks.
  • Experience with APIs, scripting, and data integrations (Python, PowerShell, etc.) is a plus.
  • Relevant security certifications (CISSP, CEH, GIAC GCFA, GCIH, or similar).

Benefits

Halcyon offers the following benefits to eligible employees:

  • Comprehensive healthcare (medical, dental, and vision) with premiums paid in full for employees and dependents.

  • Short and long-term disability coverage, basic life, and AD&D insurance plans.

  • Medical and dependent care FSA options.
