Summary

The PR Manager for Executive and Corporate Communications will be responsible for elevating Deel’s profile by driving executive thought leadership, corporate storytelling, and media engagement. This role partners closely with top-tier executive leadership, including our CRO, serving as a trusted communications advisor on high-visibility, business-critical initiatives that shape Deel’s external narrative.

This is a hands-on, highly autonomous role suited for a self-starter who thrives in a high-paced environment, can manage multiple priorities simultaneously, and brings a strong bias toward action. You will work closely with internal stakeholders—including executives, finance, legal, and marketing—as well as global agency partners to advance Deel’s mission.

Responsibilities

  • Own and execute executive communications strategies for our CRO and other senior leaders, elevating the visibility and credibility of Deel’s leaders across media, events, social, and owned channels

  • Prepare executives for high-stakes analyst meetings, interviews, and public appearances through research, messaging, and detailed briefing materials

  • Support planning and execution of executive events, conferences, and high-profile executive speaking engagements, particularly in the Bay Area

  • Develop short- and long-term, scalable PR strategies and tactics to promote thought leadership and corporate narratives

  • Swiftly capture and translate executive voice, point of view, and strategic intent into high-impact content, including press releases, blog posts, op-eds, bylines, speeches, and social content

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key journalists, editors, and conference organizers. Create compelling, timely media pitches tailored to top-tier and trade outlets.

  • Partner with corporate comms colleagues on investor-facing communications, earnings-related moments, analyst reports and major corporate milestones

  • Partner with the global communications team and PR agencies to ensure alignment, speed, and consistency across markets

What We’re Looking For

  • 7–10+ years of experience in PR, exec communications or external communications

  • Strong executive presence with the judgment and confidence to advise and influence C-suite and senior leaders in real time

  • Strong understanding of the U.S. media landscape and current media relationships

  • Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills, with the ability to move quickly without sacrificing quality

  • Self-starter mentality with strong ownership, accountability, and comfort operating autonomously

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a high-pressure, high-velocity environment working with cross functional partners

  • Sound judgment and discretion when handling sensitive or high-impact communications
