Summary

We are seeking a highly analytical and intellectually curious Power BI Analyst to build and scale a new capability within our Shared Services organization. This role will be responsible for establishing governance and process ownership for customer and vendor master data across all ERPs (System 21, NetSuite, D365), while also driving advanced data mining, analytics, and reporting. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in data structuring, retrieval, and interpretation, and will leverage trends, patterns, and outlier analysis to uncover insights that support better decision-making across Finance, Business, and Shared Services leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

Master Data Governance & Strategy

  • Develop and implement governance frameworks for customer and vendor master data across all ERPs (System 21, NetSuite, D365).
  • Establish data ownership, quality standards, and stewardship protocols to ensure consistency and control.
  • Perform regular data quality audits and data cleansing protocols to ensure data is accurate and relevant.
  • Partner with functional teams to align master data processes with enterprise goals and compliance requirements.

Data Mining, Analytics & Reporting

  • Perform deep-dive data mining and analysis to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities across Shared Services operations.
  • Design and maintain dashboards and reports using advanced Excel and Power BI; Tableau experience is a plus.
  • Translate complex data into actionable insights that inform strategic decisions for Finance, Business, and Shared Services leadership.

Technology & Data Architecture

  • Demonstrate strong understanding of how data is structured and organized across Covetrus systems.
  • Retrieve, analyze, and interpret data from multiple sources to support governance and operational initiatives.
  • Collaborate with IT and ERP teams to improve data integration, accessibility, and reporting capabilities.

Continuous Improvement & Innovation

  • Source, manage, and execute a portfolio of initiatives focused on improving data quality, governance, and analytics maturity.
  • Benchmark against Shared Services and Global Business Services (GBS) industry best practices to identify gaps and opportunities.
  • Apply innovative problem-solving techniques and a relentless can-do attitude to uncover answers to complex business questions through data.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in analytics, or Shared Services operations.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and Power BI; Tableau experience is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of ERP systems and master data structures (System 21, NetSuite, D365).
  • Exceptional analytical skills with experience in data mining, trend analysis, and insight generation.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience with data governance frameworks and industry benchmarking is highly desirable.

Salary may vary depending on factors such as confirmed job-related skills, experience, and location. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each case.

However, the pay range for this position is as follows. Sales Positions are eligible for a Variable Incentive

$67,100.00-$95,800.00
