Atlantic Coast Mortgage is seeking an experienced Mortgage Post Closing Specialist that is responsible for the timely and accurate review of all incoming trailing documents, delivery of loan files to investors, and clearing of investor conditions to ensure the efficient sale of loans.


Job Responsibilities

  • Manages incoming trailing documents, maintaining clear and accurate documentation on the progress and disposition of loan files
  • Performs data entry and pulls reports within Loan Origination System. 
  • Performs weekly follow-up and reviews with settlement companies and attorneys’ offices for missing or outstanding documents
  • Maintain a high level of expertise relative to all mortgage loan documentation required to satisfy post-closing deficiencies including but not limited to trailing documents, recorded security instruments, and final title policies
  • Work with investors and internal departments to manage defects found in the mortgage/Deed of Trust or Final Title Policy
  • Audit and ship closed loan files to investors
  • Ability to address suspense conditions received by investors in a timely manner
  • Performs other duties as assigned.


Qualifications:

  • 3+ years experience in mortgage operations
  • Processing or Underwriting experience preferred
  • Prior work experience with loan documents and title work 
  • Strong working knowledge of Encompass, DU and LP software preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work with a high degree of accuracy in a fast-paced work environment
  • Strong written and oral communication skills

This range has not been adjusted for geographic pay differentials and may not reflect the final rate offered if the position is filled in a location other than where it was posted. Compensation within this range is determined by a combination of factors, including experience, skill, and organizational needs. The salary range for this position is $45,000 - $65,000 annually.
