Duties:
– Review, localize, fact check, translate, and adapt Apps, Music, Video, Sports, and Fitness related content while adhering to writing style guide and guidelines;
– Conduct market-specific research on local content, product and terminology trends, and best localization practices for the target audience in their market;
– Provide feedback on written content by others
Requirements:
- BS/BA and 2+ years of work experience in the field of linguistics, journalism, copywriting, or copy-editing media content with proof of writing samples;
- Knowledge of apps, video games, movies, series, music, sports, or fitness – Experience in translation and localization of multimedia content;
- Native-level fluency in the target language
- Excellent grammar and writing skills in the target language
- Tech savvy: strong practical knowledge of computers and mobile devices, Word processors, spreadsheets, touch-typing expertise, digital presentations, search engine knowledge, keyboard shortcuts, virtual conferences, and social media;
- Knowledge of iOS/MacOS systems;
- Owning licensed versions of MS Office apps;
- Ability to work independently and remotely;
- Collaborative; enjoys teamwork in a multicultural environment.
