As a Product Manager within Platform Management's Payment Brand Implementations (PBI) team, you will provide vital support of the end-to-end delivery of network mandates. This includes spearheading the product development life cycle (PDLC) process, managing timelines and dependencies, and fostering effective collaboration with key partners and cross-functional teams. As a Product Manager within Platform Management's Payment Brand Implementations (PBI) team, you will provide vital support of the end-to-end delivery of network mandates. Job responsibilities
- Support the end-to-end delivery of monthly PBI releases including PDLC management, monitoring of milestones and dependencies, and release management
- Coordinate, plan, and host pre-discovery and discovery sessions ensuring impacts are identified and technology sizing estimates are obtained
- Organize and oversee the Backlog to include managing prioritization, commitment, and technical capacity
- Understand and monitor technology sprint schedules ensuring capacity is maximized
- Effectively manage timelines while monitoring blockers, ensuring adequate resourcing, and liaising with stakeholder and functional partners
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product, technology, operations, and business stakeholders, to ensure alignment and effective communication throughout the release delivery lifecycle
- Track, maintain, and report on overall PBI wellness - backlog, roadmap, delivery status, financials
- Monitor data hygiene within tools and repositories (e.g. Jira, Knowledge Management Framework) ensuring compliance with controls, PDLC and PBI delivery processes, and continuous audit readiness
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- 5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in program management, product delivery, or IT
- Expertise in the payments industry with sound knowledge in processing, payment methods and types
- Advanced knowledge of PDLC and Agile methodology including use of Jira
- Proven ability to lead PDLC activities and manage multiple input streams simultaneously
- Self-motivated and capable of thriving in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, both independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Strong process / project management skills and attention to details
- Ability to effectively monitor and manage release milestones and dependencies
- Excellent influencing and collaboration skills to drive cross-functional teams and results; Able to communicate effectively with all stakeholder levels including senior management
- Exceptional time management and prioritization skills with the ability to effectively organize and motivate individuals; Sound awareness of regulatory requirements, risk, compliance, and controls
- Positive, team-oriented attitude with the capability to actively promote a collaborative, team-centric environment
