True Zero is seeking a Data and Analytics Engineer to lead the data and analytics functions supporting continuous Zero Trust maturity assessment and implementation measurement. The role establishes repeatable data models, quality controls, and analytics methods that turn authoritative enterprise evidence into measurable maturity, risk, gap, and implementation insights.
This position supports monthly maturity scorecards, quarterly maturity reporting, capability-weighted prioritization, and implementation analysis across the Zero Trust pillars.
Position Responsibilities
- Design and maintain a common data model for Zero Trust maturity, implementation evidence, dependencies, risks, and outcome measures.
- Aggregate and validate authoritative enterprise data used for monthly delta assessments and quarterly reporting.
- Develop analytics that measure capability maturity, implementation progress, interoperability, organizational readiness, and investment priorities.
- Support capability-weighted prioritization models and enterprise gap analyses.
- Partner with Dashboard and Automation specialists to streamline recurring data refresh and visualization workflows.
- Establish data quality, lineage, traceability, and documentation practices for assessment conclusions and executive reporting.
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Five or more years of data engineering, analytics, cybersecurity metrics, or enterprise reporting experience.
- Experience integrating structured and semi-structured enterprise data from multiple authoritative sources.
- Experience developing repeatable metrics, analytical models, and quality controls.
- Strong SQL, scripting, data visualization, and technical communication skills.
- Experience with Power BI, Tableau, Splunk, data lakes, or enterprise analytics platforms.
- Experience supporting cybersecurity maturity assessments or Federal reporting.
- Familiarity with CISA Zero Trust Maturity Model metrics and evidence concepts.
